28 OCT 2024: NEW STAR GP INDUCTED TO FAMITSU GOLD HALL OF FAME

28th Oct, 2024: New Star GP, published in Japan as GP Club Life by Rainy Frog, has been inducted into the Famitsu Weekly Gold Hall of Fame. In reviewing the game, the magazine said:

“Rather than pursuing the ultimate simulation, the game is designed to be fun, with the focus on boosting and the exhilaration of overtaking opponents. There are multiple camera options, including a birds-eye view, and the feel of the game is reminiscent of old-school retro racing games. The game UI is easy to understand, while the campaign features car tuning, pit stops, and interactions with your staff. It’s an experience that can be enjoyed by players with a wide range of abilities, and the game’s depth and price are great considering the amount of content.”

The National Football League and the National Football League Players Association announced today the relaunch of New Star Games’ Retro Bowl+ as NFL Retro Bowl ’25. The game will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade, Apple’s popular game subscription service that offers unlimited access to more than 200 incredibly fun games, with no ads or in-app purchases. Incorporating the official NFL trademark for teams and players, NFL Retro Bowl ’25 combines authentic NFL rosters with easy-to-use controls and the retro style fans adore.

NFL Retro Bowl ’25 allows fans to immerse themselves in the world of football management and gameplay. Developers New Star Games, the BAFTA award-winning studio behind hit games like New Star Soccer, Retro Goal and Retro Bowl are pleased to announce a new FREE game mode for their retro styled arcade racer, New Star GP.
