NEWS ARCHIVE

An archive of all the latest goings on at New Star Games

Here at New Star Games, we are getting very excited for this years Super Bowl. We have a special update for NFL Retro Bowl 25 planned for later this week, with a nice surprise for fans of the Eagles and Chiefs! Look out for a really cool competition later this week.

We also gave a sneak peek at a brand new feature coming to the original Retro Bowl game. TRUCKING! We are really excited about this feature and we hope it will be with our Beta Testers very shortly.

Look out for news on Retro Slam Tennis and New Star GP Mobile over the next couple of weeks.

This week we have been busy working on multiple games. We are getting close to releasing New Star GP and Retro Slam Tennis on mobile and we also updated NFL Retro Bowl 25 with 30 new players, alongside fixes to salary cap issues and postseason overtime possesion.

We also asked for extra Beta testers for Retro Bowl and Retro Bowl College on Android, as we get closer to adding new features to both games. In less than 24 hours we had more than enough applicants, so hopefully in the next week or two we should have Beta builds going out to our new testers.

If you follow Retro Bowl on X, you will also have noticed that we've been doing NFL Playoff predictions, with a high degree of success, but stay tuned next week to learn of details of an exciting Super Bowl competition!

We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Martyn Brown, co-founder of Five Aces Publishing and a good friend of everyone here at New Star Games.

Martyn helped support independent games and game makers with his generosity, humour and games knowledge. He played a key part in our growth and success as a company and we will be eternally grateful for the work he did with us. He was passionate about games and the games industry and always had time to help. His sense of fun made him a truly unique and wonderful man and we will all miss him greatly.

Martyn passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family, following a prolonged battle with a series of strokes. He will be much missed by us, his family, and his many games industry friends. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
