08 JAN 2026: CHALLENGES LIVE

Challenges are now live for NFL Retro Bowl '26. Challenges allow you to pick any of the current NFL Wildcard Playoff games and challenge a friend or friends to play that game and post the best score to a leaderboard. To make use of the new feature you'll need NFL Retro Bowl '26 and iOS26 installed.

Simply open the Games App, navigate to the "Friends" tab and press the "Challenge Your Friends" button and you should see NFL Retro Bowl '26 on your list of games that contain challenges. We hope you enjoy the new feature, and best of luck to your team if they made the playoffs! 

07 JAN 2026: THAT'S A WRAP!

07 January 2026: Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had an enjoyable time over the festive period. The start of 2026 sees the curtain finally fall on the NFL Retro Bowl '26 Championship, and it's congratulations to the Colts fans who have powered their team to the top of the table and kept them there despite strong competition from the Eagles. While the Eagles set the pace in the early weeks of the season, it was week 8 when the Colts first took the top spot, and while the lead has swapped hands a few times, the Colts have set a consistently blistering pace all season. Congratulations to all the Colts fans who took part and contributed to their team's success!    

The rest of the top 10 is filled out by the Eagles, who were excellent, and finish in a close 2nd, the Packers, 49ers, Ravens, Falcons, Vikings, Lions, Rams, and Saints. A big hand from us to everyone who posted scores for any of those teams. Further down the table, the Dolphins' win over the Patriots saw them climb two places, and the Jets, Texans, and Jaguars all finished with a flourish by winning in the last week of the competition to climb places.    

We'd like to thank everyone who posted a score for their team, and hope that you enjoyed the competition. And if your team finished above that of your rivals, we hope you enjoy the bragging rights. Of course, with the competition now closed, you can enjoy your regular career in NFL Retro Bowl '26 without the distraction of the weekly championship game!

31 DEC 2025: WEEK 17 DONE!

31 December 2025: Well, the end of 2025 brings the curtain down on the penultimate week of the NFL Retro Bowl '26 Championship. The week 17 leaderboard only has a few changes from last week. The Colts have tightened their grip on the top spot with the highest score of the week and, barring something very dramatic happening, look set to close out the competition as champions. The rest of the top ten was pretty unchanged apart from the Ravens leap-frogging the Falcons despite a loss to the Packers.    

Further down the table things look almost set in stone now, but the Steelers managed to steal a march on the Bears with a  convincing win over the Browns, and the Bengals climbed above the Texans by posting a decent losing score in their match-up with the Cardinals. There's only one week left to make a difference, and there's still the chance that your contribution could make the difference to your team's final placing, so show your support for your team & move them up the leaderboard.
