problem with WinXP

ok i havnt found this problem anywhere around the forum but i have Win XP and whenever i try and load NSS4 the screen starts black,fades to white and back to black then an error comes up saying NSS4.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the invonvenience... can somebody help me

What is your windows user name?

Yeah and what are your specs? Can you run follow the instructions below too:

~Go to My Docs, then to the NSS4 folder and then to the Settings folder. Open Settings.ini and change debug=0 to debug=1
Play the game
When the game crashes, go to the NSS4 folder in Program Files
Zip the file called NSS4.log and attach the zip file to a post in this forum.

my windows username is Andrew.S
ok i cant seem to find the log file but my specs are

GFX card - ATI Radeon 9600/X1050 Series
Intel Pentium 4 CPU @ 2.40GHz
1gb Ram

Could be that it doesn't like the dot in your user name.

Open C:\Program Files\New Star Soccer 4\Settings\Settings.ini and change saveloc=0 to saveloc=C:\New Star Soccer 4\. That will save all your settings, replays etc there instead of your Documents folder.
