Somtimes get long loading times and game runs sluggish

Hi! First of all tnx for one of the greatest soccer games i've ever played!
Can't wait for Newstar soccer 4


Annoying bug:
Game usualy runs fine, loading time is very fast. But ca every 5th training or match... the game loads forever in black screen, and when the loading % finaly start it goes really slow. I got the ctrl-alt-del panel running in the background and the system graphs shows about 70% stress. So there are resources avalible.
When the game finalynstarts it runs really sluggish.. Except for countdown clock in training or matchclock that runs fast.
Usualy it happens if i click new training or match when i just finished last training.. So i give it a couple of seconds and it helps.. But still get slow downs occationaly. Any suggestions??

Windows Xp service pack 3
Ati radeon 1950 pro
3 ghz processor
4 GB ram
Logitech Joypad
Newest drivers, direct x and so forth
Norton 360 antivirus

Have tried disabling antivirus, and got the game running in full screen. Sensational runs fine. Still get slow downs.

You shouldn't have any problem running NSS3 with that computer Are you running any other programs while playing? For example, are you listening to music or scanning your computer for viruses? Oh and can you run NSS4 without lagging? I can play NSS3 and listen to music in windowed and full screen with this:

XP Pro SP3
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.40 GHz
512 mb of RAM
ATI Radeon 9100 series with 128 mb of memory
DirectX 9.0c
McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007
(yes yes my computer is old but I can run almost all 3D games )

No other programms running, and NSS4 runs just fine.
Have tried disabling just about everything in the background, and the game ran fine until i got a acess violation error..
Gonna try disabling one ting at the time and see..

I dont have your problem except the "access violation error" that I found out I got when playing in windowed mode and using other programs at the sametime (like using Internet while a match is being played in NSS).

I usually play my 10-match trials () in windowed mode and pause the game often to chat in MSN or to come here and spam a bit. Nothing special happens

First of all update your windows.

Reinstall your video drivers and directx. Run dxdiag and you'll see if there's a problem.

Take a look of the virtual memory. If the Page File Usage is big, than you have too many running background processes. You can do this:

Go to Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) > Processes tab > find explorer.exe > Right mouse b. > End Process tree. Now run the game without an explorer. This can be done with task manager. (file > run)
