replay pops up with joystick

Hi, I just bought NSS3 a few days ago and have been really enjoying it up till today.

Today, and the reason why escapes me, my joystick has decided to act as the F1 key and trigger instant replays. I cannot tell you how many goals I have missed because just as I release the shoot button and am about to put some bend on the ball the replay pops up and when I close it the ball sails harmlessly wide of the goal.

Any ideas what is going on?
