    Dear fam,
I did it! I got through my trial with Tromsdalen (Norwegian Team Second Division)
I was one of about 10 other lads there, and there was only me and 1 more got through!
Enclosed, is tickets for the first match of the season (fingers crossed i'll be playing)
I know you wont be able to get through for every game, but just being there for my debut,
    would be fantastic.
The club have found me accomadation, and its not half bad!
I've got a good sized kitchen, a lounge, a bit of a cramped bedroom, but its got an en suite so its all good.

Well i suppose i best tell you a bit about the club!
    Well.....My club .

We're in the norwegian second division, and last season we were relegated from the top league,
and we're favorites to be going up this season. (3 teams go up out of 12)
The club have sold a couple of hundred season tickets, and theie expecting an average of about,
    750 this season.
    The ground holds 2,000.

So not bad, as seen as the biggest crowd i've ever played in before was on sunday mornings,
    for westend!

I'd just like to say thank you, i woudnt of been able to do this without you, I'm going to be earning
the equivalent of £450 a week for a year with a bonus of £337 if i score.

I'll keep in touch monthly, and ill see you for the first game!

    Keep safe,
    Dom

    Dear Fam,
Thanks again forcoming to my debut match v Haugesund, it meant the world to me, and i hope your proud.
After i finnaly broke free of the back four, and was one on one with the goalkeeper, i thought that was it
here comes my debut goal.....I still cant belive the referee blew his whistle for half time.....Prat.
After that i thought it just woudnt be my day, as you know i had plenty of shots, but they just woudnt,
go into the back of the net.
And then on the 88th minute, i was rewarded... And i made it 2-0.
(The video of the goal is enclosed, just thought you'd like to see it again...and again...and maybe once more).
I also thought i'd sent you a few newspaper cuttings on what they had to say about me;-
    ' An excellent Debut '
    ' Oppotunitise Gallore '
' Reasonable passing from Carter '
' Carter gave the keeper no chance '
    ' A good performance '
    ' 8 out of 10 '

Not bad for my Debut, eh?

In the second match, we were 1-0 down at HT, You should be glad you were'nt in the dressing room.
Then within 20 minutes of going back onto the pitch, we had conceded again.
    Sh*t.
Again i wasted chance after chance, except this time they were going closer to the corner flags,
then the fans in the crowd.
I then got booked for a late tackle on a defender...That ref was scary!
I got take off with a couple of minutes to go.. Final score; Bryne 2-0
    The paper ratings?
    ' Dull'
' Tried to pass the ball '
    '2 out of 10 '

I challenged myself to perform much better in the next match... and i think i did.
80 minutes had gone, it was 0-0, on the 30th minute i had skyed the ball over the bar from 6 yards,
and i had again 2 minutes ago.
Sando passed me the ball on the edge of the box, i continued forward onto the on rushing goalkeeper,
and chipped it over his head for my other striker partner Bougdat to head it in.
    Nice.
' Carter just coudnt score '
    ' Made the assist '
    ' 5 out of 10 '

I got taken off again a few minutes before the end.

In my last game, i had about 10 one on ones with the goakeeper, and f*cked up everyone.
On the 90th minute i passed to vela who scored to make it 1-0.
The on my way off the pitch being subbed again i walked slowly off, clappping the crowd.
With the usual booing from the away fans for 'wasting time' ...
But wait.... was that the away fans... The noise wasnt coming from my right... It was coming from
all around me, There were a few fans who were clapping, but a good 400 were booing and telling me to
    ' F8ck off home'
In the dressing room the lads noticed i was down, and the gaffer came over to me and told me not
to worry, and that they'll soon see that im more then good enough for this team.
I decided, the next match, i was taking no prisioners.

35 minutes of booing whenever i got the ball in, i had placed a low footed 35 yard strike into the
bottom hand corner, Suck on that.
I didnt run over to the fans, I didnt hug all my teamates, I casually jogged over to the manager
and gave him a hi fi.
At half time i was taken off by the manager.

So, ive certainly had an eventfull first month over here!
Nightclubs are good, near my apartment, as are the 'ladys-ofthe-night'...Only Joking!

    Ill write back next month.
    Love,
    Dom
