Free Kicks and Penalties?

Is it possible to take all free kicks including ones near the goal and to take penalties? If so how can one do so cos i always just run over the ball?

Maybe you just need to get your shooting stats up?

Get your shottng stats up for penalties, once there higher than anyone else in the team then you will be first choice penalty taker, for freekicks make sure your set piece skill is highest and you'll take free kicks outside the box, free kciks from far away like your own half tend to be taken by the player fouled or closest to the ball

for corners you need the highest flair and set pieces in the team.

For free-kicks you need highest SetPiece + Flair.
For Penalties you need highest SetPiece + Shooting.

same aftertouch as everything else, just hold down the position that you want to make it curve to.

yes, but it's hard to score. but some goals with this are really beautiful after shoot you must hold cursor into side which you want to curve the ball

But, of course, you'll need lots of flair to do it...

This hasn't got much to do with it but if you just want to shoot quick and not to spend hours aiming, aim the arrow within the defense barrier, as almost every shot in this range hits the goal (that doesn´t mean you will score but that you will shoot at target)

When I'm the best player in the team, with more flair, setpieces, shooting and heading than the rest, the game put me to take the corner kick. Altought I am the one which can take it best, it would be more important for me to receive the ball to try to score than to take it. I guess it would be nice to have an option to choose not to take it, or the game to know you're the best striker and you cannot take the corner kick.

Thierry Henry anyone? Whilst he's not great with his head (all things being relative) some still wouldn't expect him to take corners.

However, fair comment and something to factor in to NSS4 if possible.
