Install error

Im trying to install NSS 3.0.8, and halfway through the process an error occurs saying that "NSS 3 has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Cannot create the following file:"
It then proceeds to give the name of some weird Name file which has corrupted letters in its name.
Thanks for any help.

and if it helps i checked the Names folder in the Data folder and all the countries are there up to SyriaLNames.dat

Try and reinstall the game, and if that doesn't work, try downloading it again. It looks like it's having some difficulties with the São Tomé and Príncipe files, which may explain why I have 'Sao Tome e PrincipeFNames' and 'São Tomé e PríncipeFNames' files in my directory...

You could also try to remove your old installation, if you got one.
I got something like that when installing, only it couldn't create nss3.exe so I
deleted the old installation and then it worked nice.

Ive tried reinstalling after removing the previously installed files, and that didnt work..tried redownloading 3.0.8 from this site and after that 3.0.7 from download.com and that didnt work either..anyway to just bypass that file because it seems like its just a 3byte file??
