Thread: Premium - really worth it ?

Thumbs up Premium - really worth it ?

Hey. Im a big supporter of indie game developers. I think this game developer made a great job, Ive been playing this game for two days only but I enjoy it a lot.
But before I spend 20$ on it I still need to ask some questions.

    - Besides unlimitied games per day, what are the other advantages premium members have above free members?
    - How many people actually buy premium? a lot?
    - Ive been playing two days for this game and I want to ask an honest question. I expect an honest answer. Is this game really playble for a long term?
It really worths 20$? I whanna hear some of the older members to tell me. Do most players quit after a couple of days playing or are their many old players.

    Thanks for the answers!
    cheers from Israel,
    Dean.

I bought and i truly regret it. The game has lots of bugs and the developer doesn't care about it, only cares about iPhone version. I played only 2 weeks and the bugs started to annoy me and i didn't play more. I regret the money i spent.

Depends what you're looking to get out of it. Personally I enjoy the game but I've made the decision not to go Premium. I just don't see enough in the non-football playing aspect of the game to make it worth the Premium upgrade. I've got the iOS version and there's not really much difference between them beyond the actual football mechanic. I don't pay any attention to the leaderboard and that seems to be the real focus of the NSS5. If the 'living the life' aspects of the game appeal to you most, then I'd suggest that you go and give NSS3 a test run. Not as pretty or user friendly but definitely has more weight to it.

Essentially you've already seen what the game has to offer and Premium won't change the core aspects of the game. You play matches, improve your skills & friendships, buy stuff and try to be sold for big money.

You could even consider the match packs. $9 for 250 matches is pretty good value if you simply want to gorge on matches but don't think you'll be playing until eternity.

There is at least a data update coming soon for the PC version.

NSS5 recieved updates for around 6 months. NSS mobile has been out for just 4 months. And I'd like to know what these 'game ruining' bugs are that you mention.

Ultimately you can get a refund if you want and stop bad-mouthing the game.

The first of all is the annoying joypad speed bug. I've sent mail with videos, and the supposed update that would fix it did nothing.

I've owned this game since its release. If you ask me it's really worth it to have Premium, and I'm not saying this just because I'm a moderator here. Aside from the huge plus that is having unlimited games, you can actually build a career (change clubs etc) and you can progress as you want and not be limited by the... limitations that free users have. I'd say it's worth $20 for a simple reason: you can give your career-to-be the course you want it to have and you can tweak it as you go. The scenarios are endless. And you can make as many careers as you want, anywhere!

    Default Thanks

I did buy the premium and I dont regret it at all.
Been playing hours already in this game and already in my 5th year.

I have a few questions though:
    1) I played at Hapoel Tel Aviv and after a few years Im worth 11M. Now im trying to transfer to a good club in Europe but no one wants me? only second league
teams want me. its strange cause im already playing in international matches.

    2) Whats all the fame about? I see people in the leaderboard with 100% fame! I have only 3% and it also changes quite a lot. How do I get fame besides celebreating after goals? I really dont understand the fame thing.

I thank you every one for the support

You are the only person who complained about it. As far as I'm concerned the keyboard players could do with a little extra help because playing with the joypad is so much easier. Anyway, your refund has been processed.

No , i'm not. You can check Threads in this forum of users complaining of it. I have a message from a user complaining about the same and asking me if i know how to resolve it. And, i've send you videos that show clearly the bug. So i don't understand why that reaction.
You're not a machine, so it's normal that the game has bugs. What i don't think it's normal is to ignore the users and even say they are "bad mouthing" the game, when the users even bought it. If the software vendors had your attitude, they would be broken

Ok, let's end the argument here. Back on track, if you feel that keyboard players running maybe 10% faster than joypad players will ruin your enjoyment of the game then no, it is not worth upgrading. If you don't mind that "feature" then you can probably make up your own mind from the free trial.

It's not 10%. When i'm running with joypad and turn, the player slows a lot, and even against minor league teams (cup games for instance) , my player ( with max speed) gets caught by the defenders.

Im stuck with my player. Im in a bad club, with a bad salary. And I have 0% fame although I scored 17 goals all over the season.
Untill Ill get my fame question answerd I tried to open a new player but the player wasnt premium. How come?
Is there only one premium player?!

You just have to use the same player name.

    Dunno about the second part.

But depending on your position and average rating it might also have an effect on your fame.

Example I have a Belgian striker who just knocks them in for fun (most times) in matches and gets Star Man quite alot, and around 87%ish fame. Everyones after him from Man City to Juventus, whilst I made a second account with a Danish defender. Whom I often only get 8 - 9 rating with, both are in the second year currently but the defender can only go as far as league 2/3 offer wise. I think its down to average rating and stats considering what you do, like I don't tackle as much as I should on my defender. So that likely influences things.
