@Rib On my replay i am clear in front of you and line i took is totally natural and fastest for me, so i think i didnt do any mistake here. And after you passed through the grass i even braked to avoid collision, so yes, im very conservative when it comes to collision, i always try not to hit other car even if that means i will not prosper. Thats the main reason i didnt finish better on OC..(you know how good guys always finish last ) From my perspective this is aggressive and illegal move to gain advantage. Your speed was too high, you didnt brake at all. If i were you and i decided to take your racing line here, i would surely brake there before the corner to avoid collision. Sure nothing personal, just discussing.

The only thing i criticise is that some persons take i for granted that some lines are the best ones when theres no facts proving that! Just cause hte majority makes them?? You should know good about it due to many records beaten! Sometimes some approaches dont work and you have to change them to be more effective!

Sure, i agree with that, your "alternative" racing line is not so illogical as it seems. The problem for you in this case was lack of space because my car was there.

I've watched both replays and all of you are right

On Lema's replay he touches the grass a little so I can't see how that is faster than going just a mm lower? This appears to be an attempt to close the door on Afonso.
On Afonso's replay he is ahead on his screen but he is in no position to come ahead after that turn without cutting the grass.
On Prz explanation this is all well seen.

So... even if Afonso has amazing reflexes and saw Lema closing the door and went on grass to avoid the collision... Lema closed the door by staying on track mostly on his screen while Afonso still went over the grass and came up ahead when otherwise he wouldn't have.

We've seen Kobayashi wedge himself into the path of another driver on brakes and get away with it, but I don't think we'll soon be seeing him cutting the grass to perfecthat manouver and stay ahead, not even accidentally or to avoid collision

Ok, after what i consider the best season ever (and i didnt won it!! ), i close it then so we can start with the new season hoping that its even better the this one! Specially considering the acquisitions from many teams!!
