Boss always unhappy... (and other questions)

Hi there,

I am doing a championship here (no mods) and I am in a situation where no matter what lap time I do in practice the boss is always unhappy... of course the time is pretty good (I qualify in the top 5 usually) but that does not seem to matter. I have noticed that on every track the record time is 37:521 which seems wrong... Could it be that while adding some tracks downloaded here or maybe installing some mods I may have screwed the game?

The second question is: how long is the championship with no mods on? If I do quick race I get a lot of tracks (> 40) to choose from, does that mean I will have to race all of them?

Hmmm....if the track records are set all to 37:521 then something is wrong there. I remember having the same problem when i decided to buy one car with the race winning awards money. I bought it and then went to a track to try it. After setting a laptime with it, the lap time stayed for all tracks. For what i remember, the only solution was to start a new game. I might even have reinstalled the game.
So, i think thats why the boss is always unhappy, cause he bases himself on the laptime established in comparison to the track record, i think.

Oh well I would love to, I've been fiddling with the idea for a while but saturday 10am is a bit of a bummer... I'm going on holiday pretty soon but maybe I'll give it a go when I'm back
