Help needed with Intercept opportunities

OK, I need help. I am in the match, have the chance to intercept, there are maybe 3 guys behind me he can pass to, he passes and I almost never can get to the ball in time. Is there some trick or tips on what to do other than wait to see where he kicks the ball and try to get to the ball? Because my % success on this seems to be about 10%.

When you get 3 players I often find that two players stay quite close together, so try to cover both - you'll be quite close 66% of the time then.

To solve this you're going to need to be faster, you can achieve this by training or getting better boots; preferably both. I'd say once the training gets hard on this area, stop, save up for better boots then carry on the training.

I find it easier to intercept when you have more pace. But its still damn hard as when you move your finger to direct your player it normally covers that player so its luck that i intercept more than anything.

Get some pace. Cheat down before the ball is kicked, watch which player calls for the ball, and then move your finger to the bottom of the screen near where the ball is going to be kicked - then try to get in line to where the "X" is where the ball is going to land.

Before I got fast, just move backwards quickly, line up with the two players that stick together, that gives you some time to intercept. When you get to maximum pace, it'll be very easy. Just wait for the pass to come and intercept by stepping forward right where the yellow marker appears.
