'Crash when clicking on Play' bug in my 8th season (iOS)

Hi there,

After successfully playing through 7 NSS career seasons on an iPad 3, I've suddenly encountered a game-breaking crash bug when I click on 'Play'. The screen starts fading into black for the fraction of a second, then the game freezes - see screenshot:

Is there any way to fix this without losing my save file? I couldn't find other bug reports on this issue. I'm happy to provide more precise information on my career status if needed.

Could you check the fixtures for the Europa and Champs League please? Are there fixtures scheduled for weeks 7 or 8? Can you spot any issues with them at all (missing teams, duplicate teams etc).

Let's see...

EUROPA Q3: There are 30+ fixtures scheduled for week 8, also one 'bye'. No fixtures for week 7.

CHAMPS PO A: Five fixtures each for week 7 and 8, the Week 7 fixtures have already been played (there are results showing up), no byes whatsoever.

CHAMPS PO B: Same as for CHAMPS PO A, except that there is a bye for both week 7 and 8.

CHAMPS GRPs (which are only accessible via the CHAMPS PO screens, not sure if that's a bug): Three teams in the first three groups, two in each of the remaining five groups. It seems that the rest hasn't qualified yet. Most importantly though, my team (MAN U) is the current Premier League champion and does NOT appear in any of the CHAMPS league groups!

I didn't notice any other missing teams or duplicates. I didn't pay much attention to which other teams from other leagues qualified for the European tournaments before, though.

By the way, I've had a different bug since the last one and a half seasons or so: Whenever there was a 'Dilemma' screen coming up during my club season, my decision affected the stats of the NATIONAL team my player has been playing for, NOT the Club team stats. The stat changes have also been the same every time, regardless of the actual dilemma.

This bug is fixed in v1.12. Should be available on iOS this week.

Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, the crash bug is still there after the update. Is my save file broken?

I experienced the same problem in v1.11. Then I upgraded to v1.12 yesterday, but I'm still seeing the same problem. When checking the Europa and Ch.league I see the following:
EUROPA Q3: 30+ fixtures in week 8, and two instances of 'bye', both for the "J ESCH" team
CHAMPS PO A: Five fixtures for week 7 (all completed) and 5 for week 8 (matches not started). No 'bye'
CHAMPS PO B: Five fixtures for week 7, one 'bye'. The first 4 has a result, the last of the five has the 'bye'. 5 fixtures for week 8. The first one has a 'bye'

Really sorry about this guys. It might be easier to restart your career as it will take a while for a new fix to be found then approved by Apple for the Appstore.

The crash seems to be occurring because the losing teams in Champions League Play-Offs needs to go into the Europa League. However, if there is a BYE then there is no losing team. What was causing the BYE is a bit of a mystery.

Can you guys tell me what your career path was before the crash? For instance, did you play in the same league or did you transfer to different countries? It could be vital to understanding why there is a BYE in the Play-Offs. Thanks.
