Too bad about KERS. With the newly found way of usage that requires endless constant tiny KERS boosts the game will become very difficult (physically - doing it all the time tires you out) for those who want to go that way and too challenging for those that don't.

Too bad about KERS. With the newly found way of usage that requires endless constant tiny KERS boosts the game will become very difficult (physically - doing it all the time tires you out) for those who want to go that way and too challenging for those that don't.

About the newly found way of usage from KERS....its not so simple as it looks. You have to know how to save KERS for the critical parts of the tracks...and if you do that the all race you end up with no KERS for the other parts so....dont worry!

About the non existence of RC or president candidates....well, since we require at least 2/3 stewards and since NO collisions won, i guess there will be not much work for the board except checking backwards driving or miss use of tires...therefor, i decided to apply for RC board. Otherwise i just wouldnt have the time to do it properly, im too busy ATM.

It's not simple at all, it's exhausting Also, it is the reason why I've given up on setting online records... it takes tremendous effort for me to drive that way and when I don't I'm about 3 seconds a lap slower.

It's not simple at all, it's exhausting Also, it is the reason why I've given up on setting online records... it takes tremendous effort for me to drive that way and when I don't I'm about 3 seconds a lap slower.

I would say that our ex-champion is just getting old.... Exhausting? And that system of KERS doesnt make you win 3 seconds per lap. If it does make you win at all is only something like 0.300 max 0.5s per lap. So, start practicing and stop with the silly excuses.
I also dont like KERS cause i think its not very well implemented but....i have to admit that im quite curious to see the results with KERS cause now cutting corners makes you damage your tires much more then before so, i think it will not be worth it to cut them except to beat a lap record! And this is already a tip i would say!

KERS would be excellent if it was balanced (read: you don't know if to leave it ON or OFF). It's a crazy idea, but maybe we could tweak the KERS in engine.ini to balance it out, or ask Simon to limit KERS power, so it does nto EXCEED car top speed, you know, a quick 1.35 fix. IT's a crazy idea because I don't know if we can make it in 2 weeks...

I think you've missed the point In a well balanced game you practice to get ahead. The KERS thing is not balanced at all, it's just silly. So your comment sounds like "if you lift heavy weights every day for 6 months you'll be able to slap Afonso silly". That was never put into doubt, the question is only why go through an efford that exceeds the reward by so many times

Sometimes what it looks completely obvious, is totally forgotten. Want an example?
I remember Peter not really realizing that its much better to start with soft tires rather then hards. Why? Cause if it starts raining you at least have used the fastest tires and gained some advantage over hard tires. So i almost always have started on Soft tires. Obvious? Not for all i think.....
