We won 2-0 and even though I only missed one pass I got that rating. A bit harsh no?

Agreed. You should be looking at a 7-8 rating for that performance IMO.

Actually, I think you missed two passes - the Assists are a subset of the passes, if I recall correctly.

lol, for only generating 6 chances that rating is actually really good! Get used to things like that, if you're keeping things positive across your Boss/Team/Fans for any game be happy. I've found that the key to getting better ratings (and as your star rating goes up you'll need to consistently get better ratings in order to not be lambasted by your boss/team/fans) is to increase your vision skill. This seems to increase greatly the number of opportunities for passing/shooting/intercepting and is critical as you progress.

I was scoring one goal each match (18 games and 21 goals) and my ratings was always around 5~6... Now I'm a substitute because I'm in 'poor form'

My ratings have always been spot on. An assist in a quiet game should be around a 6-7 IMO. 6.3 seems okay.
