Oh, my! Weren't you able to backup and restore on iTunes? :l

I'm actually thinking of restarting my career when the new update comes out, the game is enjoyable the same. I'm curious - which club do you start in your first season, Cookie? Do you try to make it until you reach Benfica and then go for the international career? Or do you start international, and then want to end your career at Benfica?

I started with Moreirense, which I took to the 1st Division, then Guimarães picked me up, we ended in the top 5, and in the middle of the next season Porto picked me up... I didn't really have a preference for Porto, but since my Sporting didn't care for me at the time, I made my name in Porto for 2 seasons, winning the cup and league before I went to Sporting

I now have been a globetrotter since then, since I was kind of bored of winning the PT league, but with the prospect of international call-ups and the UEFA competitions, I might just go back to Sporting and finish my career there before restarting

What was your previous career story?

I need to test it over the weekend but version 1.1 should be available on Android and Flash soon and hopefully by next Friday on iOS.
Love all the NSS games, although don't really get the time to commit to them these days. That is why I love the mobile version. In my current game I started out in the lower Scottish leagues with Stirling and Falkirk before moving to Rangers and on to my current team Leicester. Very excited to hear about the update with international and European competitions. Look forward to it being released. Cheers Si!

Missed your post! I had to restore from scratch because my iPod was jailbroken, so no backups. I started in Covilhã, and then built my way up. Went to Estoril and eventually Porto, so I could try and play abroad. I succeeded and went to Hearts where I failed and then I ended up returning to Portugal, to Beira-Mar. After that I finally got a bid from Benfica, and I didn't even think twice Unfortunately I got off to a bad start and then it was very hard to improve my relationships. I went to Sporting where I was the most successful -- I won two cups and got a 2nd place finish (lost the league in the final matchday), all this in 15 seasons. Then my iPod went for repair I started in the Conference now, trying to do something different!

Also, good luck for Thursday. I'm hoping Sporting get to the final!

Oh, great career story Too bad you lost all your progress though. I'm sure you'll be able to work out something like a Rui Costa career this time around, playing as a young talent in Benfica and then going back to finish you career there as well!

I've been to Spain, England. Italy, Germany, US, Brazil, Japan and now Argentina - but I'm hoping to finish my career in Portugal.

Thanks for the wishes, it's going to be hard, but let's hope for the best!

    Cheers,

    Paulo

Can't wait for this. It will add an awful lot of depth and scope to the game (which is already brilliant btw)

loving the app. showed it to a few friends. 5 of them have it too. two became die-hards :p

anyway we discussed it yesterday and came up with the following suggestions for either NNS Mobile 2 or an update: (I don't know if any of these have been mentioned before)
    - Multiple saves.
    - International-games (World-cup etc)
    - Champions League (Maybe Euro-League too)
    - more events (ala NSS3), more stuff to buy.
    - An screen where you can see your former career by club (not all together)

GReat effort with the Android version; Looking at all the different versions of NSS5 (iOS, Android, Flash, HTML5) I wonder where you physically get the time to do all that, Simon!

Coming to us...any chance to overhaul the control system? I played the Flash version a bit before buying NSS5 for my Android phone; Worked brilliantly with the mouse but I discovered that my finger essentially hides the action, especially when trying to intercept the ball

H3llR4iser, you can control the player by just clicking on the edge of the screen towards which you want the player to move to. I just hold the phone with the two thumbs in the screen, and click left/right as I want him to move.

Thanks for the Previews Si, can't await V1.1 to be released.

But there seems to be a bug, the 3:2 in the second screenshot wasn't in - it just hits the bar, without this bug England can't be able to beat Germany . Please make the game a little more realistic (think this is why it isn't released yet)

Hope on England vs. Germany in the EC, cause that's what football was made for.

    Cheers,
