Terrible news you deliver... I was aiming at 2nd and didn't even get the podium for McLaren.. Marek you're sacked!

Also, Paul managed to jump Bubic, well done.

Track voting will soon be ready.

First of all....i had great fun in this weekend races.

    Review:

Couldnt set Q on both races... I was almost sure i wouldnt win on India due to the fact of starting last with collisions and....knowing that Peter had practice a lot to finally win this. I cant say i made a perfect race cause i didnt but, i can say i was really careful not to damage my tires and first laps were really fine, using the mistakes of drivers to slowly gain positions one by one. Still my conviction was intact that peter would win easly but....again he made the same mistake from other races....trying to predict weather! Yeah, the weather bar was about to move to rain but....it didnt and peter was on wets out there making him loose loads of time. I forgot which tactic i use but i think it was something like 4+5+5+6.
Irony of destiny....rain did eventually arrived and this time i had luck in guessing it cause i was leaving pit when first drops fell in my helmet. Prz also got it right and.....repetition of last rainy India season race. Prz in front and me on his tail almost all race. Gaining time in some parts and loosing on others. Last turn for example. Prz looked like he sorted out a way of doing it full gas while i was always releasing gas. So he gain time there but he was lossing after the big straight so, it made things even.
So i was starting to think that race would be decided on pits and so it did. I went to pit earlier then him and pitted for 5 laps more and fresh tires of course. When it was his time to pit it looks i gained enough time to pass him and stay in front. He left pit and was something like 0.5s from me with 2 laps to go or so.
He was faster then me on those laps as i was trying not to make any mistake at all cause i knew it would be fatal. I drove the marussia car till the end on first place and was surprised with the result and sad for prz cause he also deserved to win. I guess prz is one of those cases where a great driver unfortunately born in the same generation as another one. Allow me a small analogy.... its like C. Ronaldo and Messi. If bothe of them would have born in different generations, they would both win 7 or 8 golden boots.....
Forgot to mention that Kotka could have won this one as well but....he made a rookie mistake, forgot to change tires when on pitstop. I gues it was the excitement of going in front, it happened to me already as well!

    Abu dahbi:

    No Q again!
Made an ok race but made 3 stupid mistakes. First one i went to wide on a turn cause i was looking to tactics and thinking what should i do. 2nd one was that when i was on pit and put softs when i had to put hard ones, so i overfuelled for soft tires, and then the 3rd mistake was again looking to tactics on my paper and when i looked again to the screen, i was going like 310 KM/h and was already in a turn so.....i went senna style to the grass loosing 2 positions on that.
In the end i was surprised to see Peter and Frost on the top places.
Last 2 laps were of excitment as i was getting closer and closer to prz and i knew he was kind of nervous for that cause he had lost last race in a similar way. Last lap i was at about 0.5s from him and i felt the tension on the air! But he kept the 3rd place and i was happy with the 4th one.

Season is over and its time for reflection of the future.....

5 championships in a row....3 more seasons and Schumacher's record is beaten!

EDIT: Forgot to mention the fair play showed by Frost on India. I got the position before last turn and he braked not to hit me even though we were fighting for position!

Painful weekend for me. Was practising a lot during the week and my feelings were great before the race. I started 2nd and kept that place many laps. Was 1st at some point too. I was looking for podium but then, my first pit. Forgot to put new tires -.- So 2 laps - 2 pitstops, my race was over. And then came rain and had to go to the pit third time. I think I finished 6th of 5th, don't remember.

In Abu Dhabi I made the fastest lap at qualifying but for some reason i disconnected!! That made me REEAALLYY angry. Sweared couple of times too, not my habit. Raced well but made at least one mistake in a lap. Final position: 6th (?).

I look forward the next season. I will be faster and stronger then, i promise Flying Finn!

Two things you guys need to do:

    1) Vote on next season if you haven't already (voting ends: 13th May 2012 (11:59PM UK Time).

    2) Additional voting opens (including presidency & steward vote) at 14th May 2012 (11:59PM UK Time). If you want to be president or a steward then you MUST contact me before then. So far only Mellor has indicated he wants to be a steward.

I want to officially resign from my president and race control duties. Its my conviction that i tried to be as fair as possible!

All the luck to my successor....Mellor for president? You have my vote if you do apply. Frost? Kos?

    India
I know i'm the fastest around this track, i think i prooved that setting the fastest lap on the hard tyres - also i've had three pole positions of the three race held in India. Never managed to win a race however; season seven i made an error costing me the win, season eight Beni Mari didn't obey blue flags and cost me tonnes of time allowing Afonso to catch up and pass me and this season i just got unlucky with the weather.

Not much more to say ... it looked like it was going to rain, i put wets, but the rain never came. It wasn't really an error, i just got unlucky that the rain didn't come This race is becoming a bit of a monkey on my back, but we'll try again next season!

    Abu Dhabi

I was very surprised to get the win here as compared to testing i was nowhere near my fast pace - i was pretty demotivated from the India result still, and still had tears in my eyes! This allowed Rob to be able to stick with me and get a great second place - good effort! Afonso could have won this race if he didn't start last and Prz could have done if he didn't have a bizarre strategy (i think i saw Hard, Hard, Hard, Soft)?

    Season review
Delighted with how this season has gone! Seven wins out of 20 races and genuine title contender - pretty happy overall Hoping to be more than just a title contender next season though

I think it's important for everybody to take a turn as President (and stewards) so we all have an idea of what's involved and how difficult it can be to resolve issues. I also agree that it's the turn of Kos or Frost

I see your point however for consistency sake i'd like one president over a period of say, five seasons
