RACE FIXING SCANDAL

Current NSGPOC president, Afonso Ribeiro, has been accused of race fixing by unknown media sources.

This accusation surfaced after the following image sprung up on the internet:



When Mr. Ribeiro's office were asked for a comment on the matter they said "a statement will be made available soon".

Whether these accusations are true or not - nobody knows, however this can only be detrimental to Mr. Ribeiro's title challenge, increasing the pressure on the Portuguese driver at a crucial time in the season.

Nowadays its so easy to manipulate images that any charge has to be very well documented. Plus, that image says nothing but my conviction that Rodney will win a race this season. And that Prz is a fast guy and...the Kos gave up of practicing at all and will not win a race soon i bet!

In the light of these shocking news I propose that to prevent Ribeiro from fixing the results, each race that he does not win, he should be automatically moved into first place. This should calm down the bookies and prevent Rodney from winning.

As much as I would love to upset the bookies and join the prestigious list of NSGPOC race winners, I do not think it will happen this season, simply because I do not think I can turn up to any more races this season!!

Yes, up and coming British star, Rodney, will not be roaring around silverstone in front of his adoring British fans due to family commitments. Then for the rest of the season, I will be away from home again so will not be able to take part in NSGPOC!

The Mercedes team have been quoted to say, 'We are very disappointed with this turn of results, but it is beyond our control...'

ALSO I think this means Santa wins the bet ... sorry Alfonso!

I will, however, be around this week if any other racing is going on!!

I should be there, the Nordschleife is a cool track. The only reason why I would not like to have it in NSGPOC is that its no longer by top racing series (it's not realistic for F1 to use this track).
