Why is my player continuously unhappy?

Those are my player's relationships. He is also club captain, and scores a goal or two almost every match. He owns a house, car and a bunch of luxury items, yet no matches pass without him having at least 2 Unhappiness Strikes.

Am I playing the game wrong or is this something that needs to be looked at?

You don't have a sponsor and a girlfriend. These make your char unhappy. FYI girlfriend has double effect.
