LOL Ups....i counted with the time here in Germany! Still, the same thing applies. Your vote only 20m before closing!!!???

So, the votings are not finished yet cause there´s still 14m left but it looks all this discussion about collisions ON or OFF was for nothing. If everything stays how it is now collisions with damage wins!

Voting results (as i interpret them, don't want to create any misunderstanding):

    Collisions and damage ON

    15 min race

    Blue flags

Both tyre types have to wait and see (i'm kind curious)

    Race control

    Same stewards every race

    Two morning races

No racing at all in xmas and new year's eve

As for the start of the season, wouldn't it be better to postpone the first weekend if 1.30 is distributed to late in the week?

    Cheers

I kind of agree with that actually. 1.30 should be released this week but as you may well know i cant promise anything about it cause its not dependent on me (SI).
Would be fair for all drivers to have some days to get along with the new physics of the game. But at the same time is also kind of nice everyone to start with no preparation at all but....on that point,me, Prz, Kos, Frost and Peter a little bit, got already some laps under the new physics so someone may say we have kind of advantage but...well someone had to test it and i havent seen many persons interested on it, maybe cause lack of time but also lack of patience cause we really need it...uff.
This update, what it looked a minor one and made in a quick time, drag itself for about 2 months i think. A big cause of it was that we were always asking to implement more this and that and Simon also has other concerns besides NSGP so....took its time but hopefully is there this week.

So, maybe we should vote on the topic: Start of the season, when? Only like 5 days after 1.30 comes out??
    Ideas guys.....

I think the season should start regardless of when the new version is released and stop asking for new features and bugfixes otherwise NSGP 1.30 will turn into the equivalent of GPRM (Formula 1 management game that has been in 'development' for 10+ years)

Seriously though alot of people will not be able to practice with the new version when it comes out providing others are online, there will be practice sessions before the race. Very simple idea, show up early for the race maybe 2 hours so you can run long races for practice. Delaying the season is the worst of the worst case scenarios.

Collisions and damage ON (enthusiastic start to the champ, followed by disappointment and then disgust, same as every year + Peter's quest for logic and comaraderie takes a second seat to his selfish desires, same as every year)

    15 min race

    Blue flags

    Both tyre types

    Race control

    Same stewards every race

    Two morning races

No racing at all in xmas and new year's eve
I simply don't understand. For next year voting I demand no racing for any holiday of any religion I can find. As I am a multireligious person and I believe in about 3000 gods... and you have to respect that!

I was just about to comment I imagine you and Prz will have a big advantage until everyone gets in line with the new physics. But that's ok, you should have some reward for your testing! Let's just get the season on please and stop harassing Si.

With that being said I am disappointed with the fuel % thingy, I cannot aim 64% in speed unless I fine tune and go back forth many times, so I'll try and keep the old supermegaclever thingy that lets me visualize the fuel needed!

edit: I'd like the second Red Bull if possible - thnx!

LOL Ok, i speak for myself. I agree with you about the religion holidays and stuff.....but what i mean on Christmas is that being a Portuguese foreigner living in Germany, i use that time to get together with family in Portugal that i dont see the all year. So the last thing that crosses my mind on that time is to be glued to a thing i make all the year. I try to use that time to relax and let go from all the "routines" of the year. Nothing to do with religion at all as i dont have any besides the one of respecting all life forms in the World/Universe.
Thats why i voted NO...i will simply not be in front of a computer on that time. Well....only to check/send some mails and stuff.

Cancelling races on C. eve and NY eve is not about religion, it's about risk of having low attendance. We want people to come racing with pleasure and not to annoy their friends and families .

Note: this is for the voting sheet

    Progressive system

    Per season:

1st offense - warning, no further action.
2nd offense - 3seconds added onto race time.
3rd offense - 5seconds added onto race time.
4th offense - 8seconds added onto race time.
5th offense - 12seconds added onto race time.
6th offense - 16seconds added onto race time.
7th offense - 20seconds added onto race time.
8th offense - 25seconds added onto race time.
9th offense - 30seconds added onto race time.
10th offense - Demoted to last place in that race.
11th offense - Disqualified from that race result.

This allows for progressively severe penalties to punish repeat offenders. Furthermore this system does not disqualify drivers from future events so the number of racers should not be affected

If something is an offence or not will be deicded by the stewards however for consistency a list of all the seasons penalties will be kept so simmilar offences recieve simmilar verdicts.
