step by step how to get mods in the game

I'm new to the game. I've read through the forums looking at how to install the mods, but I still cant figure it out. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain it to me in the simplest terms.

When you create a folder and you use back slashes does that designate to create more than one folder?

My Documents/GP Star/ Mods/ etc.

I'm sorry. I'm old and not very good at computers. Any help would be a blessing.

For sure there´s someone who can help you out. I have to be honest, i dont understand much about mods even though i have one installed. What i did was to simply copy the files to this location My Documents\New Star GP\Mods and it works. I know that for some mods you have to copy more files and even replace some (not forgetting to make some backup in case anything goes wrong).
But what i would do if i were you is to send a PM (private message) to any of the guys who made a MOD, they know for sure how to explain you better.

Try sending PM for example to Dan'on Hill or Ludwig Gross or even Paranhos they will for sure answer you and explain you how to do it.

In the mean while i say for you to check the thread of the official online championship so you can race with us! Would you like to? It starts next saturday the season 7! It makes fun so just give a look on the forum about it and come play!

ps: you´re never too old to play! By that way of thinking im also old!

Hello squirrell, I can suggest you simply download for example my last 1985 season mod. Dunno if other guys have put readme files inside their mods but I can guarantee you will find an exaustive readme on how to install the mod in mine. Then you just do the same with other mods you install.
