    1\9\2011 - NSGP

Ladies and Gentleman, it is with great pleasure that I can announce the innaugural season of the Alternate Racing League

Alternate Racing League, from this point refered to as ARL is a new racing league open to all that aims to focus on the fun of online racing while promoting a fair competition.

At this juncture I would like to point out that ARL is not intended as a competitor to the official NSGPOC that adheres to the official Formula 1 calendar. ARL is by design a true alternative to the NSGPOC. ARL will not run any tracks for our innaugural 16 race season that are currently in use by the NSGPOC.

Races under the ARL banner will be contested Wednesday evenings at 20:00 GMT with the season set to start 7/9/2011.

As of 01/09/2011 at 22:00GMT the signup sheet is open, the following teams have entries avaliable.

    Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes
    Driver 1: Przemator
    Driver 2: ktf

    Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro
    Driver 1: Afonso Ribeiro
    Driver 2:

    Sauber F1 Team
    Driver 1: Paul Mellor
    Driver 2:

    Renault F1 Team
    Driver 1: Ante Bubić
    Driver 2: Ludwig Gross

    Team Lotus
    Driver 1: wolfman
    Driver 2: Dan Pankowiak

    Red Bull Racing
    Driver 1: Rob Frost
    Driver 2: Sida

    AT&T Williams
    Driver 1: Victor Paranhos
    Driver 2: Fred Groom

    Force India F1 Team
    Driver 1: Peter Santamaria-Woods
    Driver 2:

    Mercedes GP Petronas F1 Team
    Driver 1: Klemen Ferenc
    Driver 2:

Further applications are also avaliable for Marussia Virgin Racing, HRT Formula 1 Team and Scuderia Toro Rosso. Please indicate your interest in driving for these teams in your application.

ARL prides itself on its unique style and racing system. At the forefront of our pro-racing initiative is our rules preventing excessive testing on our 42 sanctioned circuits.

For the first ever ARL season the venue of the race and the rules under which it will be contested will not be released until 30 minutes before the event is due to commence.

In the interest of space and tidyness the rules are now contained in this file, please read them. ARL Rules.txt

If you are interested in participating please complete an entry form and feel free to ask any questions in this thread.

    Additional Rule Notice

In line with competition rules, practice servers are limited to running 3 laps 45 minutes before the race.

In line with recent events here is the current list of reprimands. Each driver has one reprimand before they will be DSQ from an event, the punishment for their actions in the race where they have been awarded a reprimand will be decided by Race Control on a case by case basis.

    Reprimand List

Ludwig Gross - Round 3 - Dangerous Driving/Deliberate Danger to Others - Awarded half points for the event

Sure...but dont forget that it starts today at 20:00 (UK time). If you can come 30m before so you can practice the track.

    See you.

I will not be there tonight!

    Message from Race Control:

Tonights tracks and rules will be announced at 19:15 UK Time, ARL have made an exception in the rules for the first round due to the nature of the track and the fact that todays races are a double header. For single race events the standard 30 minutes will apply.

    Rule Classification

In line with competition rules, practice servers are limited to running 3 laps 45 minutes before the race.

So from the time the race is announced the practice servers should run under NSGPOC rules.

Ibiza street circuit is crazy for damage! I was lucky enough (after hitting 3 times a wall) to manage few damages. The other one
maybe even harder for me. A random refueling after 8 lap has made my car heavy as hell but managed to pass peter and ferenc at pit stops and rest 4thbefore disconnection (5th, 6th place could happen due to peter and ferenc near to me). And with
collisions for me is real hard lottery each corners! Anyway without, especially in street circuits, this game is a little bit easier.

Oh, another thing... I think to have raced 2 one without KERS!
