Talking Caesar's Palace (Las Vegas, USA)

Hello everyone! I finally got back to track creation, and here's my newest piece: Caesar's Palace.

This circuit was built at the parking lot of the Caesar's Palace hotel-casino in 1981, and served as the last round of two Formula One championships. In '81, Alan Jones won the race, and Nelson Piquet the championship. The next year, the race was won by Michele Alboreto, while Keke Rosberg claimed the world title. In '83 and '84, the circuit became the last round of the CART championship, and had its course changed into a flat oval. Mario Andretti and Tom Sneva won respectively the last two races this circuit held. Late actor and race driver Paul Newman was the race director for both F-1 grand prix there.

The fatigue caused by heat and counter-clockwise orientation make this track one of the most unpopular among drivers. Along with that, the low public attendance put the circuit to a definitive end.

I really struggled a lot to come up with a proper design for its course, taking how tricky is the angle variation of the track. A BBC Grand Prix video on YouTube helped me come up with the details of the surroundings.

Nice info too , my Formula one knowledge of classic era is at the moment stuck from 1984 to 1992

Glad you like it, man! Feel free to point any needed corrections as well.

Seems soon enough your knowledge will reach this circuit's season.
