Oh... come on! Wtf... it seems that now all are copying this thing! Codemaster is actually the "Mafia" in F1 racing games and I suppose they have all the best programmers and developpers so... btw the cars in the pictures have a weird stretch, maybe they have some gum-like physics?

I'm posting a new thread regarding a bug in the new 1.27 version. Editor will not work cause of a problem with a PNG file. It's the z_Objects_13_Wall_05, to solve just replace the old working one in the 1.25 version. Damn, I was going crazy while making a new mod these days.

I've been using rFactor for a while, and is the best racing simulator so far, but...
it literally eats my RAM, warming up the hole thing. NSGP too maybe due to gfx, programming, don't know...

this is also an important thing!

Preserving the health of your computers, in this sense Codemasters (and Infinity Ward) with their "big" games in terms of RAM consumption have done really good

    It's not a critic, just a remark.

because NSGP remember F1, and Steam don't want to have any kind of hypotetical problem with Codemasters and/or the FOM, unless you got a written pice of paper signed from Bernie Ecclestone.

The racing fraternity tend to be very loyal to an engine if the underlying game is good. Re-Volt, for example, still has people designing tracks and running online comps as well as revamping the game a decade on. GP Legends, even the venerable Microprose GP still have people who support it. Codies' browser-based effort will be forgotten in a year, if not less.
    I agree with you.

    Yep...agreed also.
For me gameplay of a game is 71% then comes graphics,....

You can have the best graphics...if gameplay is horrible...they will not catch me playing the game for sure!!!

For me gameplay is not so important, it's exactly 37.666%.

Why 37.666% you ask? Well, it's simple:

    (pi * gravitational constant * (earth mass^2)) / (Planck's constant * the speed of light * (10^65)) = 37.666%

Yep, what is great about this game is gameplay, with some little additions this can turn out great, i really hope to see NSGP2 out one day, game has a lot of potential, what is needed is just some polishing and some little new features.

What if this effort from Codemasters draws attention to top down racing from people who have never considered it before but then the game turns out to be a shallow cash cow and people are left wanting this type of arcade racer but done properly? That's when we wave the NSGP flag at them.....what? It could happen! Stay positive, dudes.

Interesting scenario . NSGP had a few moments where the number of active online players could exceed 20, but since the game is stable up to 12 players, it has a natural popularity limit. Because let\'s face it, nothing is more of a thrill than a well prospering online racing series with lots of players. Somehow it puzzles me that so little NSGP players tried to join our online initiative and test their skills against other human beings.

And how puzzled were you by the fact generally has many many times more players competing in offline competitions?
