It has changed quite a bit from the first release (GUI in particular) so are you sure you're not thinking of SLR version 1.0?

I know this reply is old, but the game i'm talking about i remember playing in 2003ish (my post above was off). it had only white lines, and the cars were teeth if i recall. I also remember it being a direct x demo of some sort.
