Thread: The NSGP2 Suggestion Thread

To have a basic car setup function would be great. Just one simple slider for downforce/speed would see enough of a difference between the cars to make racing more interesting. The only other suggestion which may not take relates to drafting. I dont like the current system, I sit a reasonable distance from the car in front and get no effect until I am immediately behind and then crash into the back of said car. Or, I catch him upon entry to a turn and then drafting kicks in and I fly off in a blue circle of doom. I propose that either drafting be made more effective from further back or in a more unrealistic fashion, it could replenish the boost meter to use when you desire.

Yes...agreed with both suggestions...they were already discussed quite some times. The game needs an update to implement this kind of things that gives that extra thing to the game. But we still dont know when/if that update will come.
In the mean whle...come play with us on the official championship, makes more fun. Every sartudays there are 2 races. 10AM and 10PM (Uk time), so just come along to try it. Makes more fun then ofline.
So...next race is in 32m are you coming?

Sure. I'll check it out next week. I'll be racing from Australia though, should I expect connection issues/lag?

What do you mean? MRO tracks are way way way better. I mean, if you are saying that jpeg may be a problem for online lag this is another problem. For me in terms of graphic there is no story. Maybe there is also copyright problem for a possible fusion with both games. Plus at the moment MRO server is even worse than NSGP one.

For me, instead of tiles, track pieces using a new editor where you can simply add zones, like pit, starting grid, wall points, etc etc from a jpeg layout is lot better.

I insist, a NSGP (cars, arcade, career) +MRO (editor, graphic) would be my perfect game. A bit like Microsoft - Apple story, at the end they both collaborate, and I can enjoy my iMac Intel...

I'd say they're better in the terms of accuracy compared to RL counterparts, of course... but visually they seem completely out of place and lacking that whole fun game-y feeling

For me a simple track editor like the one from Genrally would be more then enough. Is that so complicated to do? It even has bridges and you can put the track up or down....
About a fusion between both...well its not only possible if both parts dont want it cause copyright shouldnt be an issue.
The prob is like being a musician for example. You make a song and another musician also. None of them will want to give up his/her song to make a fusion with another one...everyone will want to stick to their own creation....i hope i didnt sounded to complicated.

Another simple thing (I'm guessing it would be simple to do)

Some programs\online games do not allow you start with torrent clients open, would like to see it just in case anyone forgets to turn off any torrents they have open.

I'm really curious to know how to do alpha tiles Would be nice to add such things (bridges, tunnel) in NSGP or NSGP 2, giving a more realistic and fun touch to the game.
Some of you know how to do?

    I know!!
You have the gather like 100.000€ and deposit on Simon´s account and then the NSGP2 comes with everything you want!

Now speaking seriously...it would be nice to have that for sure but that implys a complete re-modulation of the current mode, so not definitely for NSGP Update but to NSGP2 which has an undetermined date to be released...

The idea is funny but again the same talk...Gameplay doesnt convince me! For this you have a much older game that can be better then this one, called F1-GrandPrix for Mame32.
    Cool game...

I mentioned that in one of my first post ever. Still playing it sometimes
each time you crash, losing 3-4 positions, or losing on time 1 sec before finish... damn it!
