But by believing in that you completely disqualify your signature statement, because:
You obviously had to base it on facts (which I believe you did - things like race results) and what I had said is just a slight correction based on the data you overlooked (in my theory /speed = who would win if we had all stayed on the track/ and /who eventually won = skill, success, luck, any number of things except speed/)

If it is unexplainable then my signature could claim Afonso is the slowest driver until proven otherwise and it would stand on the same ground as your does, as simply a provocation. And those are not nice!

Why has discussion of rules and voting become so nasty?
True, but arguing is generally more engaging then what it takes to notice people wandering away in disgust Sadly, I have no idea how to bring back the friendliness of earlier times. Starting with myself I easily see where I could improve but it would demand giving up the struggle for anything when it's that struggle that makes it feel like this is any kind of community at all. Certainly I could remove myself to improve the atmosphere a bit but would it really be a gain? Seemingly the forum would only drop into a friendlier state of fascism. Without mutual respect these things will always happen but we can't enforce respect either. I can imagine a reasonable president with greater authorities sorting it out but I could not say who could that be. Seems like anyone who hasn't held their tongue for too long has demonstrated a lack of reason, compassion, non-selfish desires or any number of things

@Kos The big difference between our signatures is that mine is talking about me (even if its implicit the other drivers from the world), and your has my name on it. I feel honored to have such respect from you!

Hehe, no problem. You wake up close to mid-day?

You have many internet sites that have smiley collections and all you need to do is select a smiley and paste it

Yeah i woke up today at 11:00 you know why? I was on MC until 04:30!!! I just couldnt let go, always saying just 5minutes more....
But the main problem was that i went into a quest of finding diamonds. I found a spot with 6 of them together not to mention massive blocks of iron and gold, was very happy. But then on the way back i decided (STUPID) to try to continue digging until my place. LOL Well, i was unlucky by the fact that i just digged on the wrong place at the wrong time (fully loaded with rare materials). Lava showed up coming from nowhere and i died and melted all my stuff, maps almost complete, iron tools, armor,.....DIAMONDS INCLUDED!!!!
So after this tragedy i had to make something that would make me happy about it...i got to my place again (cause i had sleeped in other place) and then i redone my iron tools a new map to start from the beginning,.....and now im ready for a new expedition with the mistake made learned!!! Save your stuff in a chest before doing crazy stuff!!!

Yeah it was OK. Everyone is dropping F1 like a hot potato... Prz & Krz would be preffered as commentators though

Btw, you know how in championship manager you get stuck in an endless loop of defeats and you have to do something drastic to get out? Something like this?

Did you sell all your players and had cash to only buy 9 good ones for replacement?

    Marek as F1 commentator?

"What are these jerks doing so long in that pit stop? What the f*** was Kobayashi thinking when driving into Sutil's a**? Hamilton has shown with the sh** overtake just how big a pr*** he is. Holy sh**, have you seen this poor bas*** hit the wall?"

9 good ones and Wimbledon in the same sentence?

Actually I only managed to bring 5 players into the club and the others were generated anti-talents (what CM has for clubs that own no players of any value) and 2 of those five had their legs broken and were out for 15 months

CM 9798 rules! The game should be called "devastation simulator"

Well CM2 was great. It was bugged and too easy (since you could buy great players when they would "spawn" on free transfer) but still fun.
CM9798 was more difficult but (as) some things were improved.

Now I'm back after all these years to CM9798 and playing the latest update I have not played in the day and it's hilarious!
I've started with a D3 club and got promoted twice (just barely) and then started losing ALLLLLL the games without a reason. From that moment on I've started the game again (after getting fired and losing all reputation) several times and it's always been the same.

For example, now I've started with Wimbledon. I got killed in D3 but since game gives you an "Ok" reputation when you start I got signed by Exeter in D2.
Now, Exeter was not even bad, they were mid table the last season when I came. I left the whole last year squad and just bought some free transfers which I did not play from the start not to ruin the squad gelling etc. I've also started a bit more carefully until the squad starts playing (as if that ever happens) according to advice etc which I've read a lot.

From the very start (losing 0:2 to D3 gillingham away and then 1:4 home) it was obvious it is going to be another season where I finish last and then again last and again and then get fired and restart the game

I'm currently DEAD LAST in D2 (all the same players from last year, same tactic half of the time as well) and my goal diff is 8:31. The highlight of the season so far is losing 1:7 to Plymouth... home.

Anyway... the game is so bugged as to render it completely unplayable. I just wonder if I'll ever get the "opposite" bug like I did once (you can do anything and you win).

    lol

Good idea but I'm ahead of you! One of the short games I've played was a season with Arsenal. I ended up just above the 3? clubs that were relegated.
Anyway, back to my Exeter in D2. It's half season and the stats are as follows:

I am last (ofc, silly to mention) with 13 pts from 23 games. The club above mine has 21 pts.
My score is 3-4-16 and the goal diff stands at impressive 24-70.

If the oponnent is exceptionally weak in some games your players will get a couple of red cards, make a couple of penalties, you'll have a couple of goals annuled and you will concede in the 90th minute. Or all of those usually.

Well I managed to get to the end of the season with Exeter, somehow I brought in some ok players and managed to win some games so I wasn't dead last. In I got to 39 pts so improved double from 13 to 26!! The team above last had 42 pts. I also got from 3-4-16 to 7-5-11 for a final 10-9-27. But no other team had the goal difference of 47-113! Since I had 24-70 in the first part I have also improved to 23-43 in the second!

Too bad, I have a feeling the game would be real fun if it made any sense. I've followed the advice of one of the CM makers on how he succeeded word by word, imitating his team and philosophy. All it got me was last with any normal team and almost last with any team superior to its league. Good times.

Why do you bother playing a game that is old and bugged, and then report it on forums? LOL. You think that later CM/FM editions went in the wrong direction?

I remember playing a season long long ago in CM 00/01 (or 01/02). A friend gave me a tactic file called \"RooGoo\" and he said that it was really good. I won the Champions League in my debut season with Leeds United .

I don\'t know, but I always remember the games to have looked better than they did .
