Good practice session earlier today chaps
I'm forcing myself to stop playing Sensible World of Soccer so my steering thumb is fully fit for raceday
After practice today I'm expecting big things from Marek on raceday, he seems really fast at malaysia so watch out for him peeps.
SWOS is my #1 game of all time! My first PC in 1995, a 486 DX and hours and hours of SWOS. My favourite career thing was to take a weakest possible team in a European league and turn it into a Champions League winner. I would also pick a nationality that would have at least one good striker, that's all I needed to win. So for example, after winning CL with Torquay I could win the World Cup and the Euro with Poland, who had a 3,5 star Roman Kosecki.
Regarding your practice: I was a bit too late to race with you but I'm surprised Marek was racing with you. I see he's practicing like hell!
PC version!? The Amiga version is superior in every wayI started playing it religiously again at the start of the week, currently playing as Leyton Orient and doing rather well
As for Marek I really think that if he does not get at least a podium in Malasyia he has let himself down :p

Read that, the amiga version is now playable online. Although it can be somewhat tough to set up. Also that installer has a false positive against it so your AV might decide to bugger(thats for Marek) it up![]()
I'm up for more testing anytime today if anyone's interested?![]()
@przemek - c'mon, swos was too easy... I eventually got so good at [tactics making] that I could win a world cup by coaching a crappy team with a 3.5* strikerWhile playing all you ever needed was that any of the players in your ubercrap squad has a shooting rating of 5/7 and that was it!
@rob - I must've played a good portion of my life away on both amiga and pc versions of swos, switching from one to another, playing both at the same time, etc... and I must say the difference is so subtle I wouldn't even know how to describe it. I'm not sure I would even pass a blind test on it![]()
Anyone up for testing?![]()
