    Well welcome to yet another DANON mod. Coming away from the F1 scene ive dwelved into the Karting discipline!!

    VERSION 1.0
    *6 Teams and 12 Drivers, with varying skill and equal karts*
    *3 Brand New DANON karting tracks*
    *Brand new themed karting backgrounds*
    *Engine file altered to simulate go kart handling & physics*



    UPDATE 1.1
    *Added 2 PARANHOS karting tracks, now 5 tracks in total!!*
    *Revised points system*
    *New team logos (fake)*
    *New Driver names (fake)*
    *Decreased Qualifying time*


    UPDATE 1.2
    *Added 1 DANON karting tracks, now 6 tracks in total!!*
    *Increased career length to 4 seasons*


    UPDATE 1.3
    *Added 2 DANON & 2 DIMAGICO NEW karting tracks, now 10 tracks in total!!*


    UPDATE 1.4
    *Added DIMAGICO NEW karting pack tracks, now 14 tracks in total!!*


    IMPORTANT INFO
    -If anyone would like to add a track please keep them small, like the ones i have created, and please test them! AI/pit.checkpoint lines etc!
    -Karting doesnt involve pitting,KERS or refueling so disable these at game setup.(i cant seem to do this through code?)
    -The karts will seem to be going to fast (km top speed) please ignore, if i turn down the top speed the karts seem to slow! Even turn off hud may help!
    -Team,Driver & track names are at the moment just fake names. Just so they dont look generic.
    -best ran at 10 lap races

    INSTALLATION
    Just place unzipped folder in mod folder, and copy folder in "extras to copy" folder, into game base media folder, and select mod in list at start up!!

    As far as I know, it's the best karting circuit around the world.

    nice one para...

    question can i get the mod to use a whole new track set instead keep loading the 2010 season its really annoying me.

    I guess I didn't fix it in time.

    Yes you can, you just gotta rename the the tracks to Track_X.trk (with X being the round you would the track to be in) and move them to My Documents\New Star Grand Prix\Mods\[MOD NAME]\Media\Tracks.

    Also, you barely need to change anything in the game folder, only add new files to the Mod Folder you have. That way will have less chance of something going wrong in-game.

    yep ive learnt that from last time lol

    ill only put additions in mod folder.

    the karts work really well in really small tracks, i was only going to have maybe 6 teams, to cut congestion.

    para would you like a beta of this mod, to help/contribute? email?

    Btw, do you think it's possible to basically turn off tyre wear and fuel consumption? Since karts don't pit and all.

    They get the great minds and the great modders confused, anywho its a priveledge to be called Rob

    but wouldnt want rob getting all the mod credit lol

    anyway, ill look at the regs tonite more closely. ill add your tracks.. as long as they dont require tiles.

    I think the Engine.ini has the acceleration and the handling spot on, but the karts are going too much fast, in my opinion.

    Here's also a couple of fantasy tracks I've just made. Unfortunately I haven't got much time to finish them, the Final Exams are coming, I gotta study. I'll try to finish them when I can.

    Can anyone tell me why, when i put the track image pngs in the track folder of mod. I still have the f1 track images png???

    Otherwise users will have to overwrite them manually.
