We could do that. I don't think a couple of hours makes a difference (to most people) though. It's just general lack of interest... I'd get up at 3am if I had to, others stumble upon connection issues or some other problem and get discouraged.

For me, the problem is that it's Saturday night here, and generally I've got stuff going on in my real life then.... I'm in timezone hell though for (real-time) online gaming though, so what I'd really like to see is some better options for non-realtime online gaming and competitions. But that's the NSGP2 or NSR wishlist (don't see why NSGP2 couldn't turn into a general racing career simulator, not just F1...).

If I'm home on a Saturday night, then I'm definitely in. If we can maintain interest, then running a comp at a different timezone is defintely worth considering.

What's amazing is that I got 3 new players to come in for the last few races and that resulted:
    - first in a record turnout of 10 if I remember
    - then in an average turnout (4 of us croats and just a few more)
    - finally, in what would have been just me if my buddies did not come along on my request

That would have been a laugh though. Me posting race results with just me both qualifying and racing

Not for me, my problem is just that the current time is unsuitable.

I don't mind getting up early (GMT) to race at all. But at current time NSGP is on i have other stuff to do in "real life"

It's like I said... general, not individual lack of interest

If you scroll through the topic and see the number of posts each member has and then check with the online standings - you'll see that is a pretty good indication of how interested someone is. What we've is a bunch of people that will come to the race... maybe. Or not at all

Let's face it: I'm leading the champ, I'm hosting the races, I'm also racing alone now it seems, unless I instant-message someone and have him join me.
We've shut you down , Alex is struggling to come and Brad started forgetting about the race alltogether?

If I host at 10 AM (hell, it comes down to me running it so I might as well be a benevolent dictator ) will the 3 of you come? 'cause I think I can get at least one of the newcomers (Anthe,Tomislav,Josip) to show up at each race and with a bit of luck there'll be at least half a dozen of us to carry this season through.

I really dont mind what time we do it on a weekend, I am very flexible.

However, next week's race will be my last for 2 weeks as im off on holiday, which may also mean unless someone wants to try and figure out how I edit the table, then it wont get updated for a little while.

I've been looking a bit at the topic stats just now.

So far we've said goodbye to:
Janza - started the champ, raced once and went AWOL (weird)
Denby - raced once and went AWOL
    felipe1337 - warned by clairvoyance
Dan'on Hill - he does not seem to be interested, why?
    Josheh7 A&D (apply and disappear)
    rayallen A&D

    Forgot what their issue is:
lux 007? - raced once and went AWOL. I think I can ask him what went wrong myself
MrPonx? - very much alive, seemed eager to join as well...
King Rob? - has his share of posts, is active on the forum...
Paranhos? A&D, he's active on the forum though, probably to blame for the 12 AM thing as well, hehe...

These guys should actually be coming to races:
x13radx- WWL, promised it won't happen again (by accident)
    Sida79 - WWW here!
LBstrange - missed last race WWL, it won't become a habit I hope?
Cyrex - WWW alive and kickin'!
peter-27 - LLL should be alive and kickin' once we undo the horrible unjustice done to him
adam2610 - LLL adam omgwtf, you've missed the last 3 races, we miss you, will you come back please?
Alex Reeves - LWL shows up whenever he can
    redmelons - LWL Paul?
Krscho - WWW alive and kickin'!
TTCO - WWW alive and kickin'!
Cookie Monster - LLL alive but more clickin' than kickin', should come back when they repair his lappy.

so by all calculations we should be able to have at least 6 drivers on the grid for the next race?

10.00 GMT is better for me. Last season I was the 'Consistency Meister', but I struggle to always be available for the later time. peter-27 was also a regular last season, so I think going back to 10.00 is a good idea (yes, I opposed changing before, but that was because I thought we had found the best compromise which allowed the maximum number of players - it now seems that that wasn't so).

OK, so 10AM it is on Saturday.

New table should be up either tomorrow or the next day, providing I can get the archive screens up properly.
