Brazil or Spain probably have the biggest chances of winning, but I'm not ruling out Portugal, Ivory Coast, Italy, etc.

Elroy, I'm not sure if I'd put it down to Spain due to history repeating itself. I have a gut feeling it's England's year... or atleast I'm wishing(they're my favorite of all the contenders)

Otherwise, go on African sides really...Poland(), Ukraine(heartbreaker but kind of saw it coming) and Russia(HUGE shock) didn't qualify and those are the only sides I could really "support"

Ireland not qualifying doesn't come as a shock? England had a good group stage, but the group stages now, the teams aren't pushovers. They need a really good striker and at the moment, only have Wayne Rooeny.

It's not a shock, it was bad luck, and I seriously hope those cheating bastards we call French don't pull another one like that in the WC! Especially not against Portugal again like in the WC2006 (we would have made it to the final!)

Not really. They did well to get past a solid Bulgaria, but coming up against France? I fully expected France to triumph, but not in the way they had.

England have numerous solid options at striker, but yes, I'd agree that is the week spot of that side.
