    Default Paranhos' Stuff Thread

Since I've got a lot of NSGP creations, I decided to organise them.

Whenever I post something new, I'll post it on this thread.

    My list of creations:

    A1-Ring (Download)

    Hockenheimring v2.1 (Download)

Imola (Download) (Credits to robbyd for the layout!)

    Zandvoort (Download)

    Snetterton (Download)

    Northern Ring (Download)

Northern Ring - Secondary Layout (Download)

    8 Track (Download)

    Road America (Download)

    Kart Complex (Download)

    Oulton Park (Download)

    Castle Combe (Download)

    DTM Track Pack (Download)

    Realistic Pits Pack (Download)

    Diagonal Straights Pack (Download)

Open Turn Over Tight Turn (Download)

    Diagonal Straight Over Itself (Download)

    End-season F1 Update (Download)

    F1 Track Pack (Download)

EVERYTHING, AS OF OCTOBER 15TH (Download)
    (Includes Hockenheimring v2.1)

NOTE: Please ignore my double posts, since it's better for the forum organisation for me to double post than creating a new thread.

    Default Diagonal Straight Over Itself

Just a little something I made:

    Diagonal Straight Over Itself

Without my track piece, it's impossible to have two diagonal straights that close to each other. The need for that track tile started from the hairpin in the Norisring, in my DTM Track Pack.

    Enjoy!

    Default Castle Combe

Oh yeah, I've forgotten about that... Credits to you added.

There goes a new track that was already included in the NSGP F1 - Returns Mod:

    The Castle Combe Circuit

    Track Layout

This a pretty fast track, located in England's countryside. It was opened in 1950, therefore England's second longest established circuit, only behind Silverstone. On the next few years, drivers like Stirling Moss and John Surtees were attracted by the circuit.

    Screenies:

    Contains:

    -Fully working racing lines, pit lanes and checkpoints;
    -Walls, Sand Traps and Decoration

    Requirements:

-x13radx's Track Pack #2, get them here.
-My Diagonal Straights Pack, look up at the first post on this thread.

Feedback, constructive critiques and suggestions welcome.

Default Updated DB - With test drivers!

    Here's another creation of mine:

    Updated DB v1.1

This database is up-to-date with the Abu Dhabi GP, with all the drivers from the 2009 season, including the test drivers. Why? They're extra drivers, and at the end of the season, they can join the main drivers' list, add more fun and variety to the career gameplay. DOB and stats are updated as well.

Install this file at My Documents/New Star Grand Prix/Mods.

    Enjoy!

The driver list is updated as well as their stats. Test drivers are included, so at the end of the season, some of them can replace a driver, and take a first or second driver position. Technically, they're not exactly test drivers, they're just free agents. Just something I thought to add more realism (or not) to the game.

With that being said, would it be possible to expand on this so we could have a legitimate free agent pool?

Completely. When you start the game with the default DB, you replace somebody on a team. As far as I remember, I've seen the driver I've replaced on another team, on season two.

I'm going to play a full season and tell you guys what's the outcome of this.

I think we do... I have no idea whatsoever of what the Names.txt file does, but I'm going to include it soon.

Names.txt should tell the game pilots and team names

They should, but the drivers names' are already correct in both career and quick race modes. Still don't know what this does...

Doesn't happen for me, i got Gianluca Fizikella(or whatever he's called in nsgp) born in 198x and Philippe Mussa is Italian From Rome Born in 1973, that's what names.txt does, the Db alone doesn't seem to contain names
