Metal or rock fan? Please take a look..

Hi there!!

I know I've been missing lately, but I'm trying to sort my work out and find some spare time for forum job 'n joy, so I wanted to say hi by sharing a masterpiece by Dream Theater, Hollow Years. Some of you may recognise my Dream Theater love from past topics, but I'd love to say I love them, especially their old stuff.

Here comes the question. Considering the solo parts and music atmosphere (solo part between 00:20 and 01:45, and the solo part between 04:40 and 06:45) how do you feel about this song?

I'm a rock fan (yes, more rock than before ) and to be honest, watching it more than once will cause you to get used to it, so your opinion won't be the real one... watching two times max is enough, if not one imho. btw I guess you already know my opinion btw Burak, see Fener poll... I already know your opinion but want more votes!

If you're not familiar with progressive metal songs, you need to listen the song more than once. Because, for the first time you'll say "oh such a noise, why the hell they're playing so long and what's the point of this so much melody" etc.. That's what I thought about progressive metal songs at first, but when I get used to this genre, I really enjoy listenning songs solo parts..etc.. And there's one more thing, Dream Theater sometimes can sound "technic" that's just because they all trained and worked on their instruments on specific music schools, so they can be considered as "Virtuose".

All in all, yes I'm a DT fan
