If you mean the key listed on your website profile, that is the key to activate NSS5 on STEAM.
It's a bit tricky this one. The only way I know for transferring your save is to use something like Titanium Backup, but you need root access for that.

Sorry about that Bubka. You shouldn't have to purchase the career mode again, just go to Options > Restore to restore your purchase. Unfortunately you cannot restore your save or bux.
That's odd. Can you try a different browser? (IE, Chrome etc.)
I think you can use the Titanium Backup app to transfer game data. I've no idea how you do it manually though.

That's a separate issue if you are playing on Steam. If it is crashing during a save/load, can you try adding the NSS5.exe to your anti-virus exclusion list? That may help.

I use a third party module to interface with Steam and unfortunately it does not support Steam cloud. I would love to include it in the future but right now it's not possible, sorry.
A few people have reported that if they keep retrying it works eventually. What modem/router do you own? Have you tried restarting it and your pc?
Are you a premium player? You could try the Steam version.
Failing that try adding the NSS5.exe to your anti-virus exclusion list. It might be blocking it from accessing your save file.
Ooh, that's a nasty bug. When did you start your career? Was it recently since v1.12 or from a version before that?
