Finally joined the forums. Ive been playing NSGP for quite some time now.
First i would like to thank you for a very nice game (love old school games)
My experince with NSGP so fare:
Im danish so there might be some troubles with my grammar. Hope you can read it anyways :).
I have played NSGP since the first release and i must say that its nice to see a developer supporting and bugfix the game as much and fast as Simon do :D
NSGP is a near perfect mix of fun and gameplay and a bit of realism. I think the balnace of the cars/AI is quite brilliant even though in the rain they are strangely slow before they change to wet tires. But all in all the balnce is right on "hard" level for me. Still not tried the extreme level yet, still in season 8 on a Hard level game.
Suggestions
- The qualy system should be like in the real F1. I know this require some programming so mayby in NSGP2 :)
- More interaction/input from the team boss. More rivalry in the team between the AI driver and the Player.
- Press/media should be expaned to have more comments on the players progress. Again mayby in NSGP 2
- More setup options on the car. Mayby just with options to setup wings and car height(to the road)
- Tear wear should have more inpact on the car perfomance.
- Mayby ability to handle personal advertising on the drivers outfit.
- Options to train/practise the driver to get better skills. Like the traning options in NSS.
Bugs
I play the game without any custom MODS.
Not many bugs left but i still get the problems on monaco where i sometimes (tried this 4 times) "loose" a lap and go from Pos 1 to position 20 ? This happens when I go over the start/finish line, and the lap number is not increased. Can't pinpoint what does this.
In the current game which i started in V 1.1 i installed 1.11 and then theres never rain anymore on any circuit. The races can even start with the waether bar being fare to the right(rain) but as soon as the race startes the weather bar is reset to the fare left (sunny) and the rain disaapeares very quickly. But the AI cars has wet tires on and after lap 1 they pit in and change to Normal tires. Theres no rain in the races the weather bar just stays to the fare left. This bug was introduced with 1.11.
Is this because its a save from V 1.1 that i now load in V 1.11 ? Anybody else experinced this ?
