Hiya First of all i downloaded the trial version of this for my acer aspire one netbook. i know netbooks are not for gaming but i can play football manager 2009 and counter strike on it so i thought this would work.

Anyway back to my problem the game loads up everything until i click on practise or qualify then it just shuts off no error messages nothing!?

Can someone help me to get this to work?

Thanks,

les

First, install v1.1 over your existing version.

If it fails again, do you see a New Star GP folder in User/Documents?

Ok got it to work by disabling the map, obviously this makes the game really bad because the tracks thrown on the screen at random, Any more soloutions?

Well you can alleviate the loss of the map by increasing the screen resolution so you can see more of the track ahead of you.

Yeah but it's not very fun, about a quarter of the tracks there and the rest is jumbled up and most of its grass!

Please have a solution i really want to get the full game.

Thanks

Did you update your graphics drivers?

yeah updated graphics drivers, What happens is the starting grid is facing the wrong way which means you have to do a 180 at the start of every race then go on some grass and try look for the red and white corner to try work out where the track is suppose to be but you cant go around it all quickly because a lot of the track is grass which slows you down to a snails pace.

Is there any reason why it won't let me run this with the maps on?

Not a clue. You're the first person to suggest this problem. What version of windows do you have and what are your pc specs?

Looks like a fairly common system. Can you try this method of updating your GFX drivers please...
