Is NSS1 the same as NSS2?

I love NSS games, and I might be buying NS GP. I really want to buy NSS2, because I heard it was like NSS1 but loads better.
What are your thoughts on this?

NSS2 has the same Game Engine as NSS1 but is improved. There is international games in NSS2 so choosing your country is more important in NSS2. That is basically it, there are a few more tweaks that I didn't mention but they don't really matter or decide the greater point of the two games.

Oh and try buying NSS4 or NSS3 as they are the games grabbing the attention right now.

yeah. NSS2 is still quite popular because it is the newest text based game. NSS1 is alot simpler than 2. Plus, its free, so theres a couple of differences, lol.

You can buy items at your choice in NSS2 (any items) and receive special items (signed balls, shirts, etc etc... there's a list of NSS2 special items somewhere in the forum) whereas in NSS1 you can only buy cars if the correct incident pops up. Getting NSS1 for its current price is a good choice though. Although, if you can get NSS2, get it and then get NSS1 (it's free)

Umm.. NSS2 in 2D? It's a text game. NSS2 with a 2D 'on pitch' experience? That IS NSS3?
