1st: Thank you for this game. Every now and then I would spend a few days in a fruitless search for a good flash game that features this very type of racing gameplay. I found this game in the final strokes of my latest attempt, of all places, on apple.com/downloads. I've since purchased a key and, well, look at the time, it's almost 3 a.m. and I've been playing for several hours now. Thank you for a racing game that, despite what some would call its simplicity, actually challenges the player to drive the course as best he/she can in order to do well. I grew so tired of those games where all you had to do was stay on the track and keep on the gas. This game punishes you for bad moves and yet is so satisfyingly rewarding when you do well. On the hard level driving for Brawn this game offers just the right amount of difficulty for me (at the moment, anyway) that makes it fun without being easy.

2nd: Whew! Okay, my question is in regards to the pit crew, or rather the deflated group of guys that changes my tires, refuels the car and repairs the damage. I take these ba$tards to the casino at least once every week and try to win money (does that make a difference?), but I'm wondering if the frowns I'm getting from them when I commit an occasional booboo during the race week is what has reduced their mood from ~4-5 stars down to 1-2. In the mid and latter part of this first season I've won 6 races and the frequency of the wins is increasing, yet their mood has steadily decreased. I searched before posting this, but can someone tell me what the factors are that affect these sad, sad gentleman?

Thanks ;)

Yes, the frowns are because you bashed the car up and it affects the relationship. Completing laps without hitting anything will make them happy.

I had assumed that not running into things would prevent them from getting angry, but I didn't know that successive lap completion without collision would improve their mood. Besides that, what are the other factors which improve their mood? Is it enough to simply going with them to the casino? I ask because numerous times I'll go and not gain a star. Do you have to win money at the casino? Lastly, am I correct to assume that the number of stars your crew has dictates how fast your pit stops are?

EDIT: I checked in-game. So not hitting objects, completing laps without collision and simply going to the casino with them will make for a happier crew? Maybe I'm just running into too many things :P, because I can't get them happier than 3 stars.

It makes no difference if you win at the casino or not. They get happier each visit, but only by a fraction of a star so you only sometimes see an increase. :)

Ahh, good, because I just lost a tremendous amount of money in blackjack. This is why I don't gamble in real life

OT: how does Blackjack function in real life? Logic would suggest you have the same chances as the dealer.

Casino games are ALWAYS in favour of the dealer. Even Red/Black in Roulette isn't 50/50 because there is a green zero!

Basically in BlackJack you are at a disadvantage because the dealer doesn't do anything until you have played your hand. That means you can go bust several times in a row without the dealer even playing a hand.

yep, that's it! :)
