I've been playing NSS4 for a few weeks now and I stumbled upon this forum as I was checking to see if the new update was out. I found the stories posted by the other guys quite interesting, so as I have some free time I will make up a narrative about my player.
Hongjun Jiang

Born: May 20, 1992 in Dalian, China

2008
Jiang was born and raised in the costal city of Dalian. A city famous in China for its football tradition. At the age of 15 he was noticed by local club Dalian Haichang who offered him a trainee contract. Dalian is a club with a history of excellence and has produced a number of great Chinese players such as Hao Haidong, Sun Jihai, and former ManU striker Dong Fangzhou. In recent years however Dalian has been mediocre and it was hoped that the youngster could help in its revival. However, after a disappointing debut it was evident that Jiang was not yet ready for professional football, and was not chosen for subsequent matches. During this time Jiang spent a large amount of time on the training ground emerging as somewhat of a set piece specialist. As his confidence increased during the latter half of the season, he would again be selected for the squad and would start on the bench. In his first appearance as a sub, he put in a good performance scoring from a free kick. His final numbers for the year were 10 appearances, 4 as a sub, 2 goals, and 3 assists. Dalian however finished a disappointing 8th.
2009
Jiang trained hard during the off-season, and while he was still possessed just average skills and below-par athleticism, he had become deadly from set piece. His delivery from dead ball situations was now one of the best in the world. After a number of good appearances as a sub, he became a first team regular. It was also during this time that Jiang gained a little bit of fame as an up and coming youngster. While still average during free play, fans now eagerly anticipated his free kicks and corners as he would regularly score or set-up goals in such situations. Jiang was injured for a few weeks in the middle of the season, but would return to finish the year strong. His stats for the season were 23 appearances, 5 as a sub, 10 goals, and 12 assists. Despite Jiang's much improved season, Dalian Haichang was disappointing again finishing 9th.
2010
After rigorous training during the off-season Jiang entered the season a much more complete player. In addition to his quality from set piece, he now had good vision and passing abilities. He also gained more confidence in front of goal and would occasionally score during free play. Also of note was the fact that China surprisingly qualified for the world cup. Jiang was called up for one match but did not make an appearance. China did not make it out of the group stage and Portugal ended up winning their first world cup. Jiang's performance this season was much improved and he finished with 32 appearances, 22 goals, and 17 assists. He was in consideration for Chinese young player of the year, but was edged out by Theo Walcott, who was astonishingly transferred from Arsenal to Beijing Guoan at some point during the year. 2010 was a break out year for Jiang and his excellent performances played a big part in improving Dalian's fortunes as the club finished 2nd behind Beijing Guoan. During the off-season Jiang received a few offers from European clubs, most notable Sheffield United and Charlton Athletic. While such offers were tempting Jiang felt he lacked the pace to compete in English football and decided to return for one more year.

During the off-season Jiang's primary objective was to improve his athleticism and conditioning. He entered the season a completely different player. He was skilful with the ball and possessed great vision and passing ability. He was now a much improved finisher and was as deadly from set piece as ever. Jiang continued his intense work out regime throughout the course of the season and was becoming one of the league’s fastest players. He would go on to dominate the Chinese Super League, and in 36 appearances he racked up 45 goals and 24 assists. He was now a fan favourite and the captain of the team. Dalian captured the league title and Jiang was named Chinese young player of the year. Jiang was fast becoming one of the best young players in the world and with the transfer window approaching he decided it was time to take on the challenge of European football. With a heavy heart he asked his manager to be transfer listed, who despite being devastated wished him the best. Jiang had made his mark on Chinese football and will leave his hometown club after 101 appearances, 79 goals, and 56 assists. Despite offers from clubs such as Manchester United and Barcelona, Jiang decided to join West Ham United, where he will have a chance to play right away.
2012
Jiang was transferred during the winter transfer window, as the Chinese Super League runs through the summer, therefore he joined West Ham midway through their season. This along with the much higher level of play in the premiership has lead many pundits to predict that Jiang will need time to adjust. Jiang however, proved them wrong when he scored a brace on his debut. Through 9 appearances so far he has 14 goals and 5 assists. West Ham has won 8 and drawn once since his arrival and has improved to 3rd in the premiership. Jiang looks forward to continued success at West Ham and hopes to be called up to the National team soon.
