Hello from Norway! :)
First of all I would like to say that Nss is one of the greatest ideas ever made real. So simple, yet so brilliant.
I'm looking forward to buying Nss3, and the pictures and movies on the frontpage looks promising.
What I would like to ask for is some information about the control options. Will it be like a one button game (like sensible soccer), or more buttons (like fifa 2006)?
How many divisions will there be in the Norwegian league system this time?
I hope you guys enjoy making this as much as we enjoy playing it!

Glad to hear your so enthusiastic about it :D
Si's probably the best person to answer you, but i'll try my best...
The controls are pretty similar to FIFA (Button to shoot, another to pass, another to lob/cross etc)
As for the Norwegian league, from looking at my editor for NSS3 it looks like there's the top two divisions in there, however this could be different in the final version so dont hold me to it
Hope that was some help :D

As chester guy says, there several buttons to master. It is playable by keyboard, but a Joystick/Pad is recommended. (See www.newstarsoccer.com/nss3.htm if you want to use an PS2 pad.) The following decsription is taken straight from the help file...
New Star Soccer 3 is unlike any other football game you have ever played. During the match you will only control one player. That player is you. You will need to act intelligently, making good runs into space where you can receive the ball, tackling back when your team is under pressure and, when the opportunity arises, have a shot at goal. Chasing the ball around like a headless chicken will usually mean that you are out of position and will actually see less of the ball than you should. Try to hold your position, keeping the team formation together, then use the Call button whenever a team mate has the ball and you are ready to receive it.
A detailed description of the controls follows. (Controls can be changed on the Redefine screen.)
Without Ball
Shoot Button (Z)
Hold to chase the ball. (Will auto-shoot on contact.)
Pass Button (X)
Hold to chase the ball. (Will auto-pass on contact.)
Lob Button (C)
Tap to slide tackle. (Hold a direction button to redirect ball.)
Hold to chase the ball. (Does nothing on contact.)
Call Button (Space)
If a team mate has the ball he will be more likely to pass to you if you call for the ball.
With Ball
Shoot Button (Z)
Hold for a power bar shot.
Tap for a quick low shot.
Pass Button (X)
Hold for a power bar pass.
Tap whilst holding a direction button for an auto-pass.
Tap without holding a direction button to knock ball forwards.
Lob Button (C)
Hold for a power bar lob.
Tap whilst holding direction button for an auto-pass lob.
Tap whilst on the wing (wide of the penalty box) to cross the ball.
Tap without holding a direction button to lob ball forwards.
Call Button (Space)
Press whilst holding a direction button to tell a teammate to make a run towards the opposition goal.
Auto Shot
Holding shoot before making contact with the ball will make your player automatically shoot at goal. If he is running away from the goal though the shot will be weak. (Also useful for clearing the ball out of defense.)
Auto Pass
Tapping the pass button (or holding it before making contact with the ball) will make your player automatically pass to a team mate. If you have pass indicator set to 'on' in the options then your team mate will be highlighted either by his name above his head or a circle beneath his feet.

I'm from Norway to and have researched the norwegian league. There will be Tippeligaen and Adeccoligaen since second division contains of four seperate sections with 14 teams each and also the skills of the players in that division is so low that I don't think it would be worth all the extra work.

I think you can get Sensi it at the-underdogs.org but having tested the game NSS3 is much better.

In that case.... FINALLY! :D
Sensible Soccer was the best, and then SWOS was even better! But then... it was all over.. :? They came with a newer version later on, that was crap.. and nothing happened :x So you could say that I've been waiting for this for many years now!
To play a career is even more exciting than being a manager. I hope that you guys will continue working with this great ide also in the future, and that it one day will make you very rich. =D>

I agreed. NSS3 is better than Sensible Soccer.
