Keyboard too, though I've never had the chance to try a joystick.

Definitely Keyboard.

Can't imagine to play a 2D racing game with a gamepad..

Yeah. And I get sore in my wrist after sometime, so I'm joypad all the way.

I'd say you have non ergonomic keyboards :)

Never got hurt or anything from playing on my keyboard and I do spend most of my day typing fast like hell on my keyboard  do you play for a long time?

Definitely Joypad. I find I get better times with one...

Nah, I just play on my laptop, and I have no problems with typing all day and such things. But if I rest my hand where the arrow keys are, my wrist gets sore. It is just not ergonomic :)

I have problems with excessive arrows use as well :) That's why I use mps grand prix steering style!

I use the keyboard with this, as I play on a laptop and mine seems rather comfortable with my hand resting just below the cursors.

Keyboard here, but I remap acceleration and brake to my left hand, and leave left/right on arrow keys. This helps a lot with finger strain.

I do the same. Plan on getting a joystick though, just haven't done it yet. It's funny, the last game I used a joystick with was Sensational Soccer.
