any idea on how to get KERS - kinetic energy recovery system in the game????

I'm pretty sure it would have to be coded in.

I don't imagine that getting a magic button to add ~10% of a Star to speed and acceleration for up to 6 seconds a lap would be that difficult, but accurately incorporating a sufficient penalty for carrying the extra weight to balance it out would be awkward. I think there'd have to be a small perpetual penalty to both handling and accelaration for carrying it.

I don't think there's any way for us users to "mock" simulate it, it'd have to be something Si put into the game.

I am opposed to kers. Rather it would be nice to include the safety cars.

Adding a KERS turbo button would be relatively easy. Adding the AI around how/when to use it would be a lot harder. I think it would be a brilliant thing to add if possible.

My No. 1 RFE though is for variable starting fuel rates and better AI for pit strategy. And better racing lines.

I'd say that fuel consumption should be more variable. With all the different cars using different rates of acceleration over the course of a race, and all the other various factors which affect fuel usage, they should all be burning fuel at much more varied rates than they do now.

Don't forget that within BMW Heidfeld uses it but Kubica does not.

OT: How about AI driver skill levels? Pretty please?

Yeh, Si dont put all drivers with KERS, just the ones that have them IRL

The teams without KERS now will be putting the systems in soon. It would be pointless for Si to keep releasing patches to update cars as they add KERS. They're all gonna do it so just do it!

Si should make it available for all teams, but not just slap it on if we're giving a nod to reality, as Brawn have to find some way to get weight off their car before they put the McKERS in and BMW have split their drivers, (because of Kubica's extra weight).

I think it'd be a neat choice to have to make in the game, if Si could balance it properly - run light without the boost, or lose some handling and acceleration overall, in favour of a concentrated short term boost.

2bh KERS is all to do with weight yes.. the teams without have to either remove some weight from there car or make the loose drop a few pounds.. As theres no weight in the game it would be ideal if a team decides to use KERS they loose stats on Control by either .5 or 1 stat..

but if u using kers when its raining, then it would be difficult for u... u will not that fast when raining bcoz of xtra weight..

Um yeah, KERS has already been added to NSGP and this thread is more than an year old so try not to bump threads like this unless you REALLY have to :)
