No crashes in pit lane

I just played Turkey and another car was entering pits in front of me. I was entering faster and my car overlapped and just run over the other car.
Anyone noticed anything similar?

Collision detection is turned off in the pits. I think this is a deliberate design decision.

Yeah. It got too messy with cars colliding and you could block opponents from pitting.

Couldent you make it so if you did you block = Penalty and that you have to slow down yourself when entering the pits = Penalty.. Little things like this make a game class.

I think this would add very little to the game, given the amount of time it would take to add this - something I imagine is not a trivial exercise.

I agree, you have to have that possibilty, roleplaying and getting close to your idols is what its all about :D
