How to register?

I assume you register under the options menu in-game as the help menu in there explains it rather straight forward. However nothing about registration shows up alongside the other options for me. Is this maybe due to the resolution I am using, or is it located somewhere else, or is it right in front of my eyes and I have somehow missed it?

It doesn't show up during Quick Races. You need to start a career. :)
