Tips on starting

I'm playing on hard, but it seems that when you start off you've got an immediate disadvantage. i'm playing with williams, so they have poor acceleration anyway, but i'm being outstripped by my team mate nico rosberg when the lights go out, this doesn't really seem fair. I'm ok with hard being hard, its a good challenge, but this doesn't seem right. am i doing something wrong?

2 easy tips

1; dont hold ur finger down on the accle button during the lights as u get a slow start. press only when u see the lights go out.

2; get ur friends rating to max and watch how fast u are off the start
