I started my career at Team Bath, a 185cm, 80kg Centre Forward. Bath gave me a professional contract of £250 a week. After a poor run of form, 11 sub appearances without a goal, I finally came good with 2 goals off the bench as we beat Hayes and Yeading 3-2. However, due to personal commitments I had missed a training session previously, and, because of this, the boss decided to transfer list me. I was now consistently missing matches, as my boss refused to pick me. In frustration, I trained myself to death. Around Christmas, I decided to go racing with my friends. I lost some, and some more, but kept thinking ‘it will happen this time’, eventually losing £2000 until my friends pried me away from the betting shop. On the 27th I got another chance at a game, coming on as a substitute and scoring once more in a 4-1 win over fierce rivals Bath.
On January 2nd, Barrow offered me a contract at £460 a week. On January 7th, I was a Barrow member, moving apparently on a free. Barrow were sitting 222nd in the Conference National, whilst Team Bath were sitting 7th in the Conference South. On my debut, I am played as a substitute on 68 minutes in central defence... Not only am I played massively out of position, but, following this, I’m injured two minutes later, getting a rating of 2 somehow. Hmmm.. Not the best debut. I’m out for a month. Not a lot happens for the rest of the season. I get a few substitute appearances, but never long enough to show myself. Barrow are, unfortunately, relegated.
