Hiya all,

There's some mistakes made to the Singapore League in NSS4. There are actually 12 teams in the 2008 season, not 11 teams.

They are:

Albirex Niigata
Stadium: Jurong East Stadium (2,700)

Balestier Khalsa
Stadium: Toa Payoh Stadium (3,896)

Dalian Shide Siwu
Stadium: Queenstown Stadium (3,800)

Gelyang United
Stadium: Bedok Stadium (3,864)

Gombak United
Stadium: Jurong West Sport Complex (4,000)

Home United
Stadium: Bishan Stadium (4,254)

Singapore Armed Forces FC
Stadium: Choa Chu Kang Stadium (4,000)

Sengkang Punggol
Stadium: Hougang Stadium (2,500)

Super Reds
Stadium: Yishun Stadium (3,400)

Tampines Rovers
Stadium: Tampines Stadium (3,580)

Woodlands Wellington
Stadium: Woodlands Stadium (4,300)

Young Lions
Stadium: Jalan Besar Stadium (6,000)

From the cup fixtures, there were a few mistakes made too: there is no team called SAFFC2 & Toa Payoh, and Tanjong Pagar & Sembawang have since been disbanded.

Also, Singapore national games are played at National Stadium, which capacity is at 60,000.

I'll add more details on the Singapore League later. If I provide the details, could I give the real players' name?

For the RHB Singapore Cup, the 12 teams will be taking part in the cup. 4 other teams are invited from the South-East Asia region, such as Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia.

The Singapore Cup runs concurrently with the S.League regular season with the winners of the Singapore Cup competition going on to represent Singapore in the AFC Cup the following season.

Thanks for the details, I'll try and correct / work in what I can, but I will need 4 Singapore domestic clubs from outside the top level to make the cup work.

Apologies for posting in the wrong column previously.

There's no chance for an overseas team being invited to the cup? If that's the case, then it would be advisible to use the National Football League, whom are 1 rung below S.League, though no promotion/relegation are involved.

The following 4 clubs were the top placed teams this season.
- Sembawang Sports Club
- Singapore Armed Forces Sports Association (or you can name them as SAFSA)
- Eunos Crescent FC
- Singapore Recreation Club

As they are of amateur level, my suggestion is to have random-generated players, and they will be weaker than the S.League teams.

I've attached an initial database of the Sleague players in 2008 & their managers.

Things I'll be updating
- position of players (R/L/C)
- favorite tactics by manager
- # of goals/YC/RC by player (to determine his skills, agression, etc.)

Is there any additional details which you would like me to provide?

hmm, never did get an email from mkmk

woao, unfortunately the variants of those competitions are disabled at present due to time constraints before release, and also timing issues of the competitions themselves. They'll be looked at in 2009.
