no assists for set pieces?

This is kind of minor, but shouldn't I be credited with an assist for a cross or a free kick to a player who subsequently scores (along with the boost in match rating)?

I think this problem might be due to an opponent getting a slight touch on the ball at some point between you passing it and your teammate receiving it. Could people save a replay when they think they have been cheated out of an assist please. :)
