There's nothing done by Hobbyfranke yet. You can split the work between you and Hobbyfranke ;)

I found this file by Hobbyfranke -> http://www.newstarsoccer.com/newstarforum/showpost.php?p=83950&postcount=7

I will have a look over it. I think, everything in the "en" file included in Si´s "NSS4 Translation Files 4_01" file has to be translated!? Can i just translate it in the existing files and save after changing? Not that as easy as i thought.

Oh man, that´s much work! :)

EDIT: Okay i think i understood. But one question please: "c/u/btn_MatchPlay/Match Screen" <- this is from the matchscreen help file. Do i have also to translate what i´ve marked in bold letters?

Hi, I'll translate NSS4 to Brazilian Portuguese, so, what about the BR Portuguese Language Code?? It's "bpt"?? "bp"??
and, which files I'll have to download and translate??

Hi there!

You'll need to translate the whole folder which Si provided here (http://www.newstarsoccer.com/newstarforum/showpost.php?p=83753&postcount=1). You can find more detailed instruductions there ;)

I think there's no language abbrevation for Brazilian Portuguese as it's kind a accental language (Pea's definition for Brazilian Pt.), any ideas Si?

Hi there,

am already at 80% of translating the new file and would like finish this now.

Would do the testing together with helmut sen. if that's OK ? Have already sent him a pm.

Think that in testing the language file there's still a lot to do (as you can only see in a running game if the meaning of some words is translated correctly).

Greetz,
Hobbyfranke

It's a hard work my God.. I'm translating by 4 days and seems that I have done nothing :blimey:
With this work i understand the great work that Si has done :clap::clap:
and it's not all.
Brillant work Si, congratulations.

BR for Brazilian, PT for Portuguese.

BR for Brazilian, PT for Portuguese.

Where did you get this information pea? Si's instruction file says " br language=Breton" ... BRPT or BPT maybe? BTW, these abbrevations are used by blf converter so I think we cannot use language which is not listed can new languages be declared to the converter

OK, so I checked Wiki and:

Language codes for Brazilian

ISO 639-1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_639-1):pt-BR
ISO 639-2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_639-2):por
ISO 639-3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_639-3):–

Language codes for Portuguese
ISO 639 (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_639)-1:
--
ISO 639-2:
pt
ISO 639-3:
por (http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/documentation.asp?id=por)

Hopefully this will help you understand:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portuguese_language
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Portuguese

But I still don't understand, BR has always been used to define Brazilian and PT for Portuguese.

Bulgarian translation isn't possible at the moment.

Everyone who translating to Cyrilic languages (Balkanian countries, Russia..) will not be able to make the GUI text (csv file).

Actually you can translate it but the game can't show it correctly.

Anyway.. Si will try to fix this in 2009th.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! (:

We'll keep up the good work for 2009.

Yea, just a few files from help left. I will check all the other translations during tonight's game once again, and tomorrow in the late evening you should get all :)
[by the way, if you read it, tell me whether it would be a problem that I've converted .blf file from the newest version into csv file, and then translated it? - I would send you csv file from which you would have to copy everything from column D, and a few things from column B (I would write you in which Bs there are Polish phrases)].
